We've had a mix of rainy and sunny days here

U.K. has ( for once) been basking in one of the driest, warmest, and sunniest Springs on record. Bone dry for weeks since mid March (till today).

 

Doubtless normality will return in due course.

It was a high of 54 degrees Fahrenheit where I am today (with it being in the 50s for like two weeks now). I swear it's usually consistently in the 70s during this of year.

Summer is always so gross and humid where I am in Canada, I'd rather it stays like the Autumn or Spring tbh 

 

It's only 8°C here today and it's almost June so hopefully that's a sign of a milder summer.

Right!? Toronto's high temperature this week May 21st-23th is forecast to hover near 50°F avg. That same three-day stretch averaged nearly 85°F in2024!!!

 

It's been reported the coldest spring since 1967.

Nope, BC, Alberta, Ontario and Quebec are predicted to be warmer than normal.

It might be for the best, sis.  The last few years in Canada have been awful for wildfire smoke pollution.  Maybe this summer will be the first in several years to be completely smoke-free.

Well I heard BC is going to have its 5th scorching hot summer in a row. And that's where all the wildfires are.

Isn't there a polar vortex pushing the jet stream farther south than normal for this time of year? Idk I remember reading that somewhere 

Barcelona had its worse spring ever 2 months in a row raining and gray, never had seen such thing

I try not to complain about the cold and rain too much because I just know I'm going to feel hot and miserable by the time July rolls around. I try to hold onto and appreciate the cool temperatures as much as I can.

I notice the only people that enjoy summers are those that don't live in desert or tropical/subtropical climates.

I hope it lasts because when the summer starts and we get the unbearable heat in July/August, it's gonna be a living hell.

How is it unbearable, do you live outdoors? I stay indoors where there is 24/7 ac and just go outside to walk my dog, and grab some icecream at the local cafe.

Where I live it has been consistently sunny and 65-75 degrees during the week but down pouring every saturday and sunday.

 

Yeah been like that recently in NYC. I love it though, let's delay the annoying heat

Well I wish I could stay indoors all the time but I have work to go to and errands to run.

any everywhere is air-conditioned. Car, bus, gym, work, doctors office, etc.

I'll be there tonight. I'm praying for no rain this weekend.

Sis that sounds like heaven compared to where I am. It's been over 100 for a few days in a row now and only getting hotter and hasn't rained properly in months
