Ummmm idk about some of you guys but I do in fact care about the environment. I only use public transport (got the train to from London to Amsterdam instead of flying), I recycle etc etc...

 

But regardless, I would have thought it standard by now to offset your emissions if you have the ability to? I certainly would, I donate to tree planting charities sometimes

Swifties need to stop defending Taylor like she's an extension of their own limbs. She's a celebrity so out of touch with us, and doesn't care about the planet unless it fits the public persona she tries to cultivate for a moment. She, like all other celebrities, are greedy, so Swifties need to grow up. 

 

That being said, I do not believe for a moment all 170 & counting flights are Taylor's. Not even half. Releasing music right now would come across as very selfish & capitalising off of attention, yet again. But there isn't really anything people can do about it.

I just Google her name and more media is reporting on this. Taylor should just take the L and make a statement that she will make the necessary changes before this becomes a PR nightmare  the PR response basically saying she loans her jet to others simply isn’t it because it comes off that she is blaming everyone around her but herself and apparently she owns two jets?  
 

It is a good thing that she is aware of this ordeal.

Why would she and her team admit the number of flights? The safest response is to say that others have used it. It’s her jet and she took take responsibility. She is clearly in a long distance relationship and that will consist of traveling. 
 

The gag is many assume that flight tracker Twitter account was fan fiction and it ended up being a reliable source and apparently according to members on this site over the years she has tired to have it taken down due to privacy concerns but I’m second guessing if the motive was to hide the amount of flights and emissions

!!! This is all there is to it.

 

Her mistake(?) over the other celebrities was actually having the sense to buy the jet she flies in. The others just rent the jets out and fly anonymously, basically. All these musicians on tour/ atheletes, actors are basically flying on the daily, but their name is not attached to the planes so it’s not traced back to them. 
 

Yes, I wish CO2 emissions would be eradicated from planes and Jets, but until all private and the everyday commercial airlines are magically also canceled, I’m not holding a vendetta against her lol.
