Kesha - '.'

I really love for her that she came through and out of the fire and she is STILL giving us some of the strongest material of her career.  TALENT WINS.

Now lemme go listen to boy crazy for the 4839402384903th time

Imagine trying to say Kesha is trying to reheat Brat's nachos when 143 was a piss poor attempt at reheating Teenage Dream's nachos.. hilarious.

This tweet has 6 million views and is reaching so many people who wouldn't even know Kesha has an album coming out.. sounds like genius marketing to me idk

A tweet about "dumb marketing" going viral is sending me :rip:.

Just finished listening to the album and it was very enjoyable. Freedom, Red Flag, Boy Crazy and Too Hard are my faves. Boy Crazy is a BANGER :jonny5:

I still can't stand that Yeehaw song tho :suburban:

Wooow, great album. Love this so much.
I was so ******* hyped for freedom, and it didn't disappoint! So proud of her; 7/4 can't come soon enough.

AND BOY CRAZY NEEDS TO SMASH! It's so ******* good! Red Flag too.

We need the Boy Crazy release date and we need it now! :rogue:

Just skimmed to listen to some snippets and listened to Freedom in full because I was really curious about it after seeing her debut it live at Pride last year.

Loved that track and the others all sound promising. My only minor gripe is that I wish after the intro it just launched straight into the chorus first before the first verse. Mainly because that is how the show opened and it was such an epic and impactful way to introduce the era. It still is here, just wish it had that little extra punch.

Also obviously it sucks that the album leaked so early, but it does kind of feed into the throwback to her roots side of this era. Back then it felt like it was rare for an album to come out without it leaking at least a couple weeks earlier if not sooner and she's right up there with Gaga/Lana with their prolific unreleased leak catalogues. I also kind of feel like leaks matter way less (even though they are rarer) in the streaming era since I can't imagine a ton of people are going to go to the effort to download the leaks and upload to their local files on Spotify/Apple Music to play on their usual platform.

I still have not heard any song from the l-word besides boy crazy. I was too impatient for this smash and I don't regret it. It's a banger!

There was like a post that had like 200k likes on twitter saying having the album title be "." being the dumbest marketing tactic along with the pink dot.

But 200k literally is good marketing :suburban:

One day they will get that

Who cares about a negative tweet (there was just one the other day calling Gaga a zionist and other bullshit) when there's been raving reviews from fans so far? AND some promo from those same goofy people?

This is actually a good thing. The icing on the cake would be Taylor Swift posting an IG story promoting . Hihi

I agree about freedom. I feel like the intro could have been its own track and the laugh could have started the next track seamlessly segueing into the second track.

I still think she should have named it "Period" or just "Joyride" though. In the interviews for this era she keeps trying to explain the album name ("literally just a periodt!!") it lowkey is awkward and confusing.

Free promo is still free promo, that fanbase really thought they did something, and now they are fighting each other asking them to delete it sksk
