dropping boy crazy is the smartest thing she can do to capitalize on the leak (even tho it was planned for pre-release anyway before the leak). 

 

y'all are not getting the album early.  it would be such a waste and would contradict her own integrity re: the release date. plus y'all are always complaining about charts -- you do realize it would **** with the album potentially locking a Top 10 debut with physicals?

i think so... i mean high road did like, 44k physicals its debut week with zero hype (and no song like JOYRIDE to carry interest, even tho it was only a minor hit)

 

willing it into existence, regardless. it would be a great victory lap for her with an independent release.

I wasn't asking for an earlier release date, I was making a guess as to what her tweet could be about. Happy it's for Boy Crazy! But if y'all are both Kesha stans, you should NOT be caring about the charts in the year of 2025 lmaooo 😭💀  like were you even here for High Road or Gag Order???

Was Raising Hell not low key a Joyride sized hit? And she performed on an award show. We'll see. I hope for the best! I wanted to buy a vinyl but I don't spend $50 on anyone, lol.

Not really, no... RH was carried by radio payola and the streams did not hold up at all (Joyride has nearly doubled its cume in sub 1yr). Most stans loathed it iirc.

 

i don't really care all that much about charts or w/e but i think if everything lines up nicely the album could do pretty well opening week

more people buying the album = more interest in the tour = a bigger budget for her future projects. gag order is my favorite album, clearly idrgaf about charts.

 

she's completely independent now, so it's good for her to generate as much interest in her projects as possible, but thanks for the condescension!

The whole point of signing with Crush as management was to get Kesha's career back on track and every part of the album campaign has that goal in mind (particularly the long pre-order window combined with the multiple vinyl variants that neither High Road nor Gag Order had).

 

Those are not our expectations, it's her own goal. And given that she now has people working for her and not against her (unlike during High Road and Gag Order), it's a reasonable one - particularly for her first era as an independent artist.

No, Joyride was way bigger. Raising Hell had like 60 million streams last year after 5 years . It received decent airplay coming off Rainbow's success and yet was clinically dead on streaming, the exact opposite of Joyride.

 

Raising Hell is a bomb.
