The reception seems to be very positive and I've only seen people saying they are more inclined to buy the record after hearing the leak than before.

Even being generous and assuming you saw 100 whole people say this online, that would only translate to 100 more records sold.. I just feel like it isn't that much. I've only seen a handful of people saying that.

On the other hand, I believe pushing the release date closer would allow her to fully capitalize off the leak and let her get the last laugh against that fanbase. Right now I'm seeing that the leak is literally being celebrated in those circles because it isn't just stealing streams, it is taking away all the hype and attention from the official release day.

A nice compromise would be to release Boy Crazy as a single this week as it is the single with the best response this week.

do people still take the time to go and find leaks and download them? outside of the crazy fandoms? Genuinely asking

I havent done that since before Spotify existed

If the physicals can't be ready earlier than there is no point unfortunately, thats what she relies on for most of her sales. I do agree she should rush release Boy Crazy if not this weekt than next week and add a bunch more songs onto the digital version upon its release.

I don't think so. The only thing with this leak is the gross katy rats on twitter keep posting it everywhere, however as per the Discord she's had the most pre-orders after the leak, which is a good sign and hopefully shows the leak won't do too much damage in the long run.

Good Girl would've been a nice addition to the album tbh, it has what I feel the album lacks a little bit, a bit of punchiness, edginess and grit.

No I agree, I feel like it would mostly for the fans. There is simply no way for us to listen to the songs right now while also giving her streams. If she chooses to not rush release this album, in 2 months, I guarantee there will be noticeably less online discuss and streams around the album than if she releases it tomorrow, without a doubt. 2 months is just way too long, people will eat their words on the official date.

The best way to combat this is to order the physicals and support the tour, but you're still going to be losing out on that initial release day hype and streams.

Pushing the album release forward is a terrible idea and you're vastly overestimating the amount of people that seek out a leak like this.

if the KitKats can't keep their faves album afloat for more than 1wk on the charts what makes you think they're capable of sabotaging a Kesha release?

You're making zero sense. The GP does not care about leaks much less hunt them down.

I'n very tech savvy and have yet to download the album because it's a waste of time and I can't listen easily like I can on Spotify. You gotta remember that people do what is most convenient for them. If nobody is checking for a Kesha project in the first place what makes you think they're gonna go out of their way to download it and stream it using something other than their preferred streaming service?

I don't disagree with you, the angle I'm coming at is that this album is mostly for a niche audience, not the GP. The niche audience being us and online circles, who I think will jump at the chance to listen to a leak and who don't have the patience to wait 2 entire months. We are in a generation of TikTok and instant gratification, stans are excited about this album.. the GP obviously won't care.

I agree. Let Kesha stick to her release date honestly, it really doesn't matter overall to the GP. she has some good bangers where im confident the album will be pushed by the music itself being good.

I'm crying at the 143 mention.. but yeah those losers are relentless and are spamming the links to the leaks under every Kesha related tweet. Reporting them doesn't do anything, you don't even need to search for the leaks to find it. When the opposition is this determined to see her fail, it's in her best interest to act fast instead of doing nothing.

Love Forever sounds like it came straight off of Dua's Radical Optimism

I'm genuinely so upset I have to wait until 7/4 to hear this album in lossless. I'm SO mad. Kesha, help me sis. I already preordered a signed vinyl

No, people don't care. They need it spoonfed to them :dies: (I know I do when it's a "NZ" leak)

***** I LOVE YOU

I'd love if in 5 years she did a special edition with the pink color on the cover and the pink vinyl is showing where the period is.

There are some chops for sure, but this might be her best overall package since Warrior. I'm not going to listen again until July 4th to keep it fresh cuz I loved it so much :jonnycat:
