Roisin Murphy tries to school the LGBTQ: No one even used the term "queer" in the 90s
gosh I hate her. she was one of my favorite artist, I even considered going to her concert before she started this mess sometimes people should take less drugs while partying bc they totally fried her brain (not that this is the drugs fault, ***** was always dumb, just got dumber)

Mitski - 'Nothing's About to Happen to Me'
wow, this is a classic. beautiful song.
- Did Eldest Daughter overtake The Archer as Taylor Swift's worst Track 5?
-
FKA twigs - 'EUSEXUA' Deluxe
Hmm, I really think this new version is better as an album Love Girl Feels Good (and prefer striptease OG), but I use Perfectly way more than GFG. Like, you can see how Perfect Stranger (and I like it!) and Childlike Things kinda kill the mood compared to those two new tracks

FKA twigs - 'EUSEXUA Afterglow'
love this! she cleared. I hated Cheap Hotel at first, but I started loving it this week I love the weird vocal processing in this album, I think this album is more experimental than Eusexua; that one is too focused/sharp that kinda loses some of the magic in the way (and I really prefer the new edited album to the old one but happy she kept the other songs on streaming, she is so messy)

Katy Perry - "bandaids"
we celebrate! I am curious to see it. Her last three albums were not it, and her working with Puke... (even though I enjoy some gems on both Witness and Smile).
-
Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
On first listen, I didn't really enjoy the album... But wow, relistened to it yesterday and think this is among her best work? It's more dense, wordy, complex — but such a beautiful record. Love the two songs Danny collaborated (wish he added elements in more tracks tho). This clears Dance Fever.

Lily Allen - 'West End Girl'
this is such a unexpected thing for me: I also had a simmilar experience with an open relationship... and this is actually one of the first pieces of music to talk about it in this way (and not the social media texts talking about ethical non-monogamy); it's quite funny how this shitty experience is, at the same time, something new and something that is indeed happening a lot on modern dating (last 10 years). thank you lily, you made the album I didn't imagine I would need (thank god it was release this year tho and not last year that I was crying through that awful relationship :rip:)

Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
I am addicted tô the 1-2-3-4 punch of the First 4 tracks (all excelente). Now, 5-12... I like ruin the friendship (this one is for the og swifts), the title track is fine, but the rest is a chop for me. She never sounded this childish

Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
Waiiit!!! Father Figure, female George Michael!! A slay
-
Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
It has a BTD vibe... Hmmm, I am digging só far. Enjoyed the First three tracks but for me it's not sounding like a wow album

Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
omg the snippet of Fate of Ophelia if it's real (god I hope it is) this is going to be her absolute best since Folklore. And the sound really matches the main cover. Now I am hyped, gosh I want to listen to it so bad.

JADE - 'THAT'S SHOWBIZ BABY!'
I really hope Pitchfork comes through and gives this at least an 8 (even though it totally deserves BNM). Wow, I am shook. If she served this level of quality with her label clowning her... I hope that, different from Nicola, she keeps hungry and working! (Honestly her music is 1000x better then LM to me lmao).
-
JADE - "Unconditional"
wow!!! I spent the last months just seeing y'all talk about the remaining tracks, and this is 11/10! this will be the best pop debut of the decade, wow

Sabrina on her album cover controversy: "Y'all need to get out more, I think"
I am a woman, and I think the main problem is: people lack the habilita to read between the lines and see the possibility of sarcasm/irony. If this cover was by a male rapper — we all would say about woman abuse, submissiveness, patriarchy, etc. But, Sabrina is a woman — this cover is not for the male gaze (a poor analysis) — it's a satire on domination/dominated, on being men's best friend and roleplaying their fantasy. I love the cover and I think it encapsulates and adds a layer to the album as a whole. Not saying that is a political album, no lmao. But it's a pop album with drive to create a universe of her own.

Sabrina Carpenter - "Tears"
Love the song qnd the vídeo. I Hope she does great with It. She is a pretty clever songwriter
-
Taylor Swift - 'The Life of a Showgirl'
The only thing I want is a QUALITY album, I don't care for sales. TTPD had some great tracks, but overall far from her best.
-
Sabrina Carpenter - 'Man's Best Friend'
Learn to have some fun, Sabrina doesn't take herself serious, she is not trying to be Kate Bush, Fiona Apple or Tori Amos. She is camp. I actually think is great to have a pop star being so sexually bold and camp, at the same time serving great pop music. That IS something that was missing from pop landscape imo

Sabrina Carpenter - 'Man's Best Friend'
nobody's son has a little no doubt vibe in the beggining. She is my biggest surprise from this new generation; I am loving this. Another stellar record.

Florence + The Machine - 'Everybody Scream'
The title!!!! The cover!!!!! 11/10, she is coming hard! I Hope It Will be better than HBHBHB

Spotify | First week: SWAG 276.8M
yes, but there's also the fact that straight people and their public kinda don't care about this, because is expected/accepted for a man those behaviors. and all the gays who support woman in pop music run here to criticize and cancel them; while we have some of them pack Chris Brown concerts and still support other man. not that woman shouldn't be held accountable for the **** they do, but they're always put on a pedestal that pressures them to never make a mistake, bc that's punishable. while men are only punished when they cross really far lines; and sometimes, not even then.

Lorde shows her entire P*ssy in the Virgin vinyl art book
lmao the way people are talking here I thought it was her puss open wide, and it's a really beautiful and thought picture, it's explicit, not erotic. Thalia Chetrit is an amazing photographer (she also did the singles pictures).
-
Lorde - 'Virgin'
love the album! she did that. What was that is a bop, but my least favorite on the album. Shapeshifter, Current Affairs, Clear Blue, If She could see me now and David are all 10/10. Love the lyrics, her most queer album.
-
Addison Rae - 'Addison'
Love the album, is stellar. I do agree with other posts here: her visuals, production, aesthetic, taste is already amazing. she is on the right path... ...however, what she needs to progress as a popstar is to work on her voice, writing and live performances. That's what will make her work grow even bigger in quality, but she is still young, she has a lot of room to grow and ambition. I am excited to see where she goes.
