Meant to reply to these when I was at work yesterday (my phone saved the quotes I had ready lol) but I have a feeling that she'll reach at least top 15 in the US digital charts. 

 

And that I bought two vinyl variants of period for a total of $62 including shipping.

Yeah, but there is nothing that can be done about it, unfortunately. 

 

To be honest though, I'm not sure if there is a significant pool of people potentially interested in new Kesha music and unaware of the lawsuit. Yes, I know the frequent "I didn't know Kesha still makes music" comments, but would someone who genuinely wasn't aware of the lawsuit after almost 10 years really be interested in this album once it gets explained on TV?

yea, i've always seen the independence day/freedom angle as symbolic (and a nod to her fans that have been there for her) rather than the backbone of the marketing strategy. 

 

from her interviews so far it's seemed like she's going old school with the theme (partying, funny stories, "men are useless" etc etc.) that's reminiscent of the animal era. very fun very light. 

cute interviews but im a little disappointed at how rehearsed the talking points are. not a big deal but i know that kesha shines in a more casual and free flowing environment

Fortunately I never listen to leaks (because I can never find them ddd but that works out) but from the descriptions I've seen I'm more excited  oh Popsha we're not ready

I listened to the album early, and while it's not groundbreaking or experimental in any way, that's actually why I enjoy it so much, if that makes sense. It's just really solid pop. Easy to listen to, with just enough substance to keep it interesting. 

 

For me, the only skip is Yippee Ki Yay. Still super catchy, the chorus is fun, and the production is great, but some parts are borderline obnoxious to me. I'm also not a fan of listening to T-Pain rap, and I just feel like I would rather skip to the next track. 

I find myself listening to Red Flag through to Too Hard the most. Freedom although I love the intro, I'm not always in the mood to listen to it all the way through to get to the second half. I overplayed Joyride on release so I haven't been listening to it much, Yippee is fine and Delusional never really clicked with me, though it's not a bad song. Cathedral I'm still sitting with. It feels like a demo, the version I'm listening to.

 

Does anyone know if the chicken is fully cooked? I managed to get it fully defrosted but whether or not it's cooked I'm still unsure. The first chicken I got was half frozen and Glow wasn't cooked.
