As much as I love Boy Crazy, I wish Attention would be the single that is pushed right now.

To be fair... she's not really pushing anything as a single :suburban:

If anything at this point she should release a MV of Red Flag and try and get some more momentum going on that.

It's wild how quiet this release week was. Crush Music you failed.

Unfortunately with the tour schedule they kind of shot themselves in the foot. I think maybe they were banking on her tour going viral on twitter and Tik Tok, which unfortunately hasn't happened.

Promo content is recorded sometimes months in advance, it's the norm. They had a lot of time to prepare and weeks were literally nothing was happening. It's sad because her management mates were everywhere. Lorde did a lot of stuff and even Miley got out of her cult temporarily to promote.

Even RCA did more for Gag Order

Disrespectfully, everyone hating on LTLG can go jump off a cliff  an immaculate highlight in her discography

There's no confirmation yet but it seems like we're looking at around 15k which could be anywhere from 30-60 range.

Yeah, I'm thinking 15k-18k range too. Nothing's viral right now and it's mostly hardcore stans playing/buying the album, so similar to Gag Order's first and second weeks put together. High Road only did 10k streaming and that was coming off of a successful era. Still a win considering how the last two album's performed overall.

I mean at the end of the day do we care if the masses are listening or not? Look at the hot 100 chart history for the last 5 years... the GP have terribleeeeee taste.

Oh idgaf, it's just nice to see that with a proper management team actually pushing her, she could be doing much better than what RCA were pushing for the last two eras. And she'd be doing even better if they didn't fumble release week and the month leading up to it, but at least the effort is there, especially with the tour.

i think ( . )( . ) would've been a better title

Omg someone send this to her for the super deluxe :WAP:

Hymn was for the OG animals, it's like a slower Shots On the Hood of My Car. not everyone can get it and that's okay

Rainbow has no bad songs, if anything I'd swap Boogie Feet with the godly Wolf

I don't think it's fair to blame Crush for this. She started rehearsing for the tour in June and that was the moment the promo basically stopped. They did a lot before that. If the tour had started in August, we wouldn't be having this discussion. But I guess both sides didn't want that because July fits better to the whole "Kesha summer" theme.

I'm afraid a good management team would have  advised her to push the tour. And again, she could have recorded promo content before, just like everyone else and what she did with the Monica Lewinsky and Conan podcast.

I'm sorry the two songs share nothing in common in the slightest.

just listened in full and this is by far her worst album. like what happened?!

Animal/Cannibal,Rainbow, High Road and Gag Order were masterpieces. Warrior was ok.

The first half of the album really sucks and is complete crap. Halfway through, it gets much better and ends up being a mediocre album. It's not completely bad, but it's very forgettable. Sorry :ducky:

:rip: Well we got a few extra streams so, W for us.

Cant take anything seriously that places High Road above this album :rip:

This guy just wrote a really gross review that reads worse than 5/10 and is trashing Joyride on socials.

How is it quiet? :rip: She has appeared in multiple new interviews that I've seen pop up quite a bit and have been sent clips of by friends. I think interest in her in general is just kind of low. People don't want to hear the story she's been peddling anymore. Next album cycle needs to just drop that fully and move full steam ahead into her new life.

I think we'd all love for her to smash or whatever but we should let that go. She's happy and free and her tour is doing very well all things considered. Let's enjoy the ride!

Maybe I'm Delusional.mp3, but even the meanest reviews are basically saying that she could be better and compliment Rainbow and Gag Order. Reviews are meant to provoke to get clicks, that's how they get paid but in essence I don't think I disagree with some of the critiques.

What doesn't help either is the success of Brat and the automatic comparison that happens every time someone with a ****** puts out an album.

Let's hope that the critic response will just amp her up into creating some better music next go around? Like it's not that deep— this album was for her and her die hard fans and that's okay! I don't think even she cared if it was going to be lauded as some kind of masterpiece or whatever. She deserved to release whatever the hell she wanted to and not give a ****.
