The only reason they gave her fives is because they know she can do so much better and are rooting for her independence. Both reviews are very constructive and not coming from a hater perspective, in my opinion.

Paste gave Rainbow a 9/10, then didn't review High Road and Gag Order only to give this a 5/10 .

 

Slant gave Rainbow, High Road and Gag Order a 7/10 each (imagine putting two of these on the same level as the other one) .

I agree. The Paste one was a bit nasty though. You can tell the Slant writer is genuinely rooting for her.

She just wrote she can re-record her old music in 3+ years.

 

The KMI contract states she can re-record two years after the contract expires, so I don't know what this is based on.

 

Maybe they agreed to modify the deadline as part of the settlement for whatever reason?
