Reminder that Gag Order would have debuted with 16k if the vinyl had been available upon release and that was with a sabotaged campaign and no variants besides the standard CD (which was hardly available in stores).

 

There is no way Period will sell that little, the signed Cum For Me Clear vinyl alone sold out five times already + Glow Job In The Dark vinyl also sold out once and then there's all the other variants which High Road and Gag Order didn't have.

 

Period is also doing much better with pre-orders on Target, Walmart, Amazon, etc. than the other two.

We don't know how much was in stock. They could have sold out 10 copies or 10,000 copies.

I remember you were tracking this back with Gag Order and things weren't looking that catastrophic before the official numbers. I hope I'm wrong but the streaming numbers won't be that good to push the sales north of 20k. 20k is a lot of albums for a legacy act with no hit.

Surely there must have been at least 5k signed vinyls sold by this point, everything else sounds quite unrealistic.

That's not true, Gag Order wasn't doing well anywhere even before release.

That makes Gag Order sound like a smash .

I mean, I hope she sells 100k but just trying to be realistic. Miley who's a much bigger star sold 48k with a lot of TV promo, so selling a little bit less than that makes sense for Kesha.

Yes, exactly, I don't see why sales in the High Road range shouldn't be doable. But that's a lot more than 10-15k which would be less than Gag Orders combined two weeks on chart.

I think based on the performance of the follow up tracks to JOYRIDE we're looking closer to Gag Order #s, tbh.

 

A few months ago I posted in the same thread that I was optimistic for a T10 debut but that feels so unrealistic.

 

Like @bearman said she's got at least 15-20k physicals opening week on lock, and that is incredible as a legacy act. I just don't see streaming carrying this whatsoever considering JOYRIDE, a year old track and the only true "hit" of the era, is still carrying the daily streams

 

That said, SO excited to celebrate her first independent release (and can't wait for my vinyl too )

I doubt it but I'd love if the vinyl was a gatefold. Also it better not be really gross clear

Girl its Kesha at the end of the day, even at her peak she was never a huge album seller. 

I am hoping at least the CD has lyrics and hopefully the vinyls too!
