Freedom is a mess  I love the chorus but the rest of the song feels so messy/like an afterthought. 

 

Glow and Cathedral definitely sound a lot better than the leak version.

 

The mixing on Red Flag definitely sounds better too, the song is a smash waiting to happen.

freedom lowkey grew on me, i didn't like it when i listened to the leak, but i really enjoy it now

It is still so surreal that Kesha is about to legally own a released body of work... 

I lowkey hate Freedom sorry the intro kills all repeatability but also it kinda feels more like a writers demo than a fully fleshed out song. All the empty instrumental parts of the song feel like moments where a verse is meant to be put in, especially considering most of the song is just the chorus split up, edited, and repeated 80 times. Which is a shame because her live performances from a while ago were all amazing imo

First 2 minutes of Freedom kinda should've been its own track to transition us out of the world of Gag Order and into this album. 

Least fav on first listen is Too Hard. Kinda just sounds like a song from I Said I Love You First.

i agree. its about a minute and a half too long. it could have stayed as an intro and split into two separate tracks fleshing out the second part.

Honestly, it wasn't difficult. The challenging part was deciding which songs I wanted to put on the record. I grew up as a punk — I like a fast song, I like getting in and out, I like an album with no skips. So the hard part was trying to figure out which of the songs that I've written this year go on which projects. I just write so many songs — all day, all night, in my sleep. There are so many songs.
