I love Charli but brat wishes 

Culturally it's way too self indulged (not a dig) and artsy to become the same phenomena but whatever, it's immaculate

i don't understand the comparisons between these projects. brat and eusexua offer two wildly different aspects of how rave culture and electronic music manifests within culture and the human experience. both albums are amazing but they are not comparable at all. be serious

 

my thoughts on their differences:

brat is loud, aggressive, coked up. it's the raw and raunchy girl just one push from falling apart and breaking down. she is on her way somewhere and we were cordially invited to join the shared ride there

 

eusexua is spiritual, introspective, soft yet staggering and filled with rushes scattered all over the record. she's meditative and secure. she has reached a destination we haven't discovered yet ourselves but now get to understand more

 

EUSEXUA is the right hand to brat's left hand. I think the two compliment each other and the topics and focuses of the projects.

Eusexua was an overhyped mess 

I told someone yesterday that I wished Eusexua would have its Brat moment this year. Then I listened to it a couple more times and realised that it doesn't have those sweet catchy pop hooks that made Brat so palatable. 

It's too artsy fartsy for the GP but I love it.

brat came out at the most opportune time. It is much more destructive and opaque compared to Eusexua, and in time where destruction permeates all aspects of society.

In terms of Eusexua being a fun, catchy and memorable word to say - yes. But as pointed out BRAT is much more pop so that helped it rise commercially.

i feel like they both operate on different fields to one another, the comparisons kinda have me scratching my head a bit lol

I mean for it to be the new brat it has to be main stream at least, and it's not looking that way.

Brat and Eusexua are each their own moment. 

Two completely different projects, can't even compare them
