Each election, there is one or multiple idols being in hot water because of people assuming that they're endorsing a political party. It's been decades, and these idols still don't learn to not post something related to the two parties colors on their insta during the week of the election !

on the other hand, the conservative party is fueled by a hatred for foreigners, LGBT and women and also tried to bring back military dictatorship just 6 months ago

 

lee might not be perfect, but the fact that you chose to focus on his PRIVATE life over his very public views and policies says a lot…………

Instagram posts are curated by record labels and no artist freely posts them. They also don't dress themselves for posts, which we know thanks to contracts. I think it's unfortunate and I'm sure someone at SM probably is on the PPP (plenty of their male idols are proud conservatives like SuJu and NCT), but I think concluding that Karina was secretly a PPP supporter for years just because she wore an outfit curated by an SM stylist weeks ago that SM approved for release today is a big reach. Especially when Karina's views on feminism have been more liberal than either party in South Korea.

Especially when it could ruin their career where they can easily net $10M just from a quick little tour or some easy endorsement jobs?

even if it was during their pre-ig nugu era, i doubt any big 3 would risk their entire company for that. the blackmail, loose ends is too much even for 500k for a company worth tens of millions, if not hundreds of millions and decades of history. all it takes is 1 leaker.

Girl, I'm significantly more liberal than either party available. I'm rooting for the Democrat party, but **** them, still, for standing behind a sexual abuser who committed massive fraud. He's anti-feminism, anti-LGBT, has a history of corruption, etc. 

 

It's fair to say that his party has good views and I support those. I don't think he was a good candidate in any way, shape nor form nor is he nearly liberal enough.

Personally, I really don't think Karina meant anything with the post. Sometimes a color is just a color, a pretty emoji is just that, and a jacket is just a jacket. At least give her a day or two to clarify before hopping onto it. 

 

Be critical about it. Why would Karina post something for a party that she wants to support, but as soon as it gets the wrong attention, it was immediately deleted. Karina is a professional idol. She didn't just go rogue to **** up her image.
