what's the correlation between using the number 2 with a totally unrelated aesthetic in a totally different context and wearing a red jacket with a big 2 number reminiscent of the ones the party's supporters are wearing on the day of the presidential debate and a few days before the elections?

I risked my life and spent an hour on primarily male Korean forums and they think she is the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ, they are also sexualizing the hell out of her, the comments are incredibly strange. They are trying to drag the other girls too, especially Ningning, she is getting so much hate, I'm so angry at this...

right. that's why i thought it was fake at first because when i searched for it it was only right wingers praising her and i thought it was another situation like MAGA creating deepfakes of taylor and calling her an aryan goddess 

 

and it's also real about ningning. that's why i brought her up too. the conservative party and its supporters absolutely hate chinese people and believe chinese living in korea are spies 

 

which is why karina should have been EXTRA careful…

symbols don't need to be official merchandise to have meaning.

and context is the only thing that matters, not the article of clothing itself. for example, wearing a white dress to someone else's wedding. the jacket with a giant red #2 means nothing in the context of the US, but right now in korea the color red, the number 2, and the rose caption completes the infinity stone gauntlet for top 3 conservative political symbols regarding a presidential election mere days away.

ok but this makes karina's purchase of this jacket even more deliberate considering how anti-aesthetic it is

i wonder if i can flip it and ship it to a rich conservative korean daddy willing to pay 1k usd for it before the election considering it's sold out in asia
