if it was just about color, why not a red heart like the brown one? this doesn't address the deliberate rose, let alone alongside the number 2, with the election being days away and the rose being the literal symbol for that. doing mental gymnastics to insist she couldn't possibly be conservative is actually making it deeper than it has to be. karina is a smart girl, she's not clueless.

Her last emoji caption was a heart, she probably just wanted to post something different. The only mental gymnastics is trying to turn a jacket into a political statement.

 

If she wanted to make a statement, the post would still be up. aespa members have been allowed to post political statements. Korea is an extremely conservative country, she didn't delete it in response to backlash, she deleted it in response to right wing nut jobs mistaking it for support.

Garments can be political statements. That doesn't mean that they always are. She deleted the post for a reason and the reason wasn't backlash.

The same reason almost every girl group member posts a red rose. If Karina wanted to endorse them, she would openly. Instead, you all decided that photo dump #4 which was scheduled weeks in advance was an endorsement of a political party that is everything she's risked her career to speak out against. Make it make sense.

I keep telling you why she deleted the post, her political opponents mistook it for support. A right wing politician literally even posted Supernova to their story after Karina's post. She wasn't getting hate, she was getting support.

You're missing the part that she isn't in korea, has been on tour for a year straight, probably took the pictures days/weeks ago, and deleted the post the second people mistook her for one of them. She has plenty of other posts with flower emoji captions I can link if you'd like.
