Watching Lisa's lipsync extravaganza, NOT KIKI 

lalipsync was cute. very tedious to watch her do like 5 costume changes only to perform a song that sounded just like the last one she did

jennie's performance is either gonna be a career highlight or straight up ass. there's no way of knowing.

She's not a good singer, especially not on stage, and she isn't utilizing the one thing that she's good at properly. Idk it might be my unpopular opinion but I don't think Lisa has the athleticism to handle heavy choreo + live singing for a whole set. She sure has the skills but to do that for a long time without sharing lines with group members I think it's very difficult. No shade to her thought, I think the same for most kpop girls.

I mean it was definetly not a twitter hate bandwagon. If you were watching it live we could see the comments dragging the vocals in the livestream right after the first song and the same happened in ATRL. They sang bad but the actual problem was the lack of backtrack, barely no one does that if you're also dancing. Their second week was much better and it's not like they suddently got better skills in just one week. If they used a backtrack and lowered the vocals a bit they wouldn't have been as dragged tbh. No wonder no one in kpop sings live nowdays because lipsyncing will get you less hate than singing live.

and I was in both those places calling people slurs and telling them to check their hearing. Kpop fans are the pits, Gaga was just out of breath for 2 hours straight and is being universally acclaimed. These non-musical weaboos have no idea what live performances are supposed to sound like

It's gonna be better than Lisa imo. Lisa thinks that she already have a billionaire boyfriend in her bag, VIP level connections everywhere so she doesn't need to try hard.

I can understand the stamina part because it is indeed hard to do that alone for a long time. But not to incorporate it at all? That's weird. There needs to be a balance of some heavy choreo, some live singing, some theatrics….I mean I know she's not Tate Mcrae in the sense that she doesn't have the stamina of a professional dancer, but she can definitely put on a SHOW if she wants to.
