Tbf, aespa literally toned down their entire lore and kwangya etc., to fit more with the current Kpop landscape and not be considered "outdated". There is clear shift in how they approach their concept post 2022.

It's not an SM or Sheep thing. Eternium has defended IVE's stats for a long time now, he was even clowned for saying they're still the top over NewJeans.

 

It's a you thing.  You can be very nasty to a lot of groups, not just IVE. It stands out in this thread now because people are actually much nicer now to girlgroups. Not sure why you're so intent on dragging IVE. If aespa ever underperforms again or doesn't debut top 100 on Spotify Global/Top 10 on Melon....then if it happens, you can't really moan about it if people drag aespa again.

aespa didn't tone down their concept to fit the landscape. SM literally outed LSM who created their concept

 

He was the only one in that company championing the aes. The company knew it wasn't a concept that would be successful long term so as soon as LSM was outed they dropped it.

It's not for the sake of being nice. I genuinely enjoy K-pop as a genre new and old. I talk about the groups I love, I keep an eye out for new groups because K-pop is always changing and it's cool to see the different styles.

 

I have this weird thing where if I don't like/have no interest in a song or group, I don't mention or talk about it. Call me crazy

Do you guys ever get tired of the hypocrisy of crying 24/7 about "aespa" or "SM stans" while then turning around and saying negative things about... aespa or SM artists later on. This holier than thou as if this thread doesn't constantly **** on aepsa (the ONLY reason they haven't been is because they've smashed left and right in 2024).
