NJZ was in the works in 2015 as White Fox (now split into H2H, NJZ and Aespa). Why would they be copying Weeekly when their plans were created first?

Also, NJZ is a literal 90s throwback and MHJ has been using that schtick since the mid-2000s with SNSD. Nobody's calling them futuristic or avant-garde. It would be like calling Billie Eilish a copycat and then posting pictures of her outfits resembling acts from the early 2000s - that's the point of a reference. Copying and paying homage are not the same.

ILLIT's team gets criticism because they're blatantly copying another girl group that their label is openly trying to sabotage. It's clear HYBE wants to bury NJZ and replace them with the exact same girl group but with a new label: People who didn't follow either group couldn't tell them apart (myself included). When it was revealed that ILLIT's team had MHJ's plans, it became pretty ******* sinister. No amount of HYBE bootlicking will change that.

But for the sake of common sense: no dance is really going to be 100% original. You can always find some arm or leg move that someone has done before. Using a much of random clips from multiple artists and in multiple music videos to try and say "Look NJ aren't original!" is beyond nonsensical and moronic.

And their entire image and branding is Y2k which literally means Year 2000. Meaning they are obviously inspired by late 90s and early 2000s imagery and sounds. Their entire concept is being inspired by the past. So being like "omg look! Same image as a past group!" makes you look dumb af, I'm so sorry. But we really need to open up the schools.

The thing is, NJ's fighters are doing the same thing? So what do they have besides a few seconds of clipped dance footages, colorful outfits, long hair, and dance templates that dozens of groups have done before NJ? Besides "Y'all, this gives me this vibe," what else do you have? Saying "This group reminds me of group X" doesn't mean that group is actually a copy of group X. Who can watch and listen to Magnetic and say it's a copy of any NJ? School uniforms, beach runs, posing in hanfu, long black hair, colorful clothes... These never belonged to any group in the first place, so there's nothing to copy. You all know that NJ itself wasn't an original group. MHJ literally copied Speed, I'm not saying she were inspired, I'm saying she copied. From photoshoots to music videos, she copied them for her own group, but you see this as "inspiration," while the others somehow become NJ copies. Excuse me, but this is pure hypocrisy.

Why does Hearts2Hearts have so many members. Like SM really wanted that performances group.

Why not created 2 groups, one made for the dancers/performers and the other one for the vocalist.
The fact there is allegedly 2 Main Vocalists and 2 Lead Vocalists in this group, but all their songs they are just talking over a beat.

What I don't get is this group was promoting since last summer, and was announced a January debut, but then all of a sudden they announced a Reality show, a debut stage at MMA, their debut announced for December and a world tour.

NewJeans shifted the kpop industry. You may not remember, but before them everybody was still trying to debut their own Blackpink/girl crush groups.

Since NJ pretty much every single company debuted groups with NJ concept and imagery. They defined what kpop is today.

That is impact that will transcend the test of time. It just sucks that something so special was destroyed by company greed.

Im feeling EXO's new song they performed today but idk if it's because the song is good or because kai looks so sexy performing it

The frontloaded hype tired of this companies sending fresh groups on a world tour when they've barely touched a music show stage yet. They saw Cortis making waves too and knew they had to think of something QUICK
