"Hybe's claims keep changing. Their story is different from the beginning and keeps shifting. Because I said things they didn't like, they tried to impose some kind of sanction on me, to 'discipline' me, to make an example of me for others. I was made a scapegoat for everything. It honestly feels like I'm being beaten in public right now, like in Gwanghwamun.

I truly believe this kind of corporate culture needs to be fixed. I want to be very clear: I am not doing this lawsuit for money. As I've said from the beginning, if money were my goal, I could have stayed at ADOR longer, or comfortably created another group and lived well. But I chose to fight. In a situation where I did nothing wrong yet continue to be defamed until the very end, I desperately wanted the truth to be revealed.

I also want to raise the issue again of how KakaoTalk messages between myself and others are being used as the main evidence in this trial. The way these messages were obtained is deeply problematic. This was, in effect, private surveillance. They spread them indiscriminately to the media. Reporters even contacted me directly, saying things like, 'What HYBE is doing is really wrong.' People who are actually under criminal investigation get two articles, while I get 300 or 400 articles over things that aren't even substantive. In the midst of this extreme imbalance, even though I am exhausted and in pain, I still hope that something can be corrected through my case.

There was no legitimate reason to remove me as CEO of ADOR, yet they keep attaching new reasons after the fact and continue to torment me. I genuinely want to understand why they do this to me after the fact, whether this is even humane. That is why I am standing here today. I am simply asking that this be looked at calmly and fairly.

If you cut up and paste KakaoTalk messages, anyone could be made into a villain overnight. That's not an extraordinary situation; it could happen to anyone. I just hope there will be a sound judgment on whether these kinds of things even belong in a shareholder agreement termination lawsuit in the first place.

I hope that this lawsuit, in some way, can help change and advance the industry. HYBE just shouldn't do bad things. If bad actions happen, they should be criticized. But when criticism itself is silenced, when people are bought off with money, when someone is pushed and cornered like this—how can reform or improvement possibly happen?

What I truly want to appeal is this: I am standing here today because nothing was found with corporate card misuse. Everyone knows how large corporations usually get rid of people—corporate card issues. That was something Park Jiwon told me himself. He said he had sent many people away like that back when he was at Nexon. The fact that nothing was found means I ran the company cleanly, and the performance results were extraordinary.

I was someone without flaws they could attack. I genuinely tried not to use shortcuts for the sake of the industry's development. I always told the members and the staff, 'Let's see how far we can succeed if we just make great content, cleanly and properly.' I wanted to show a successful case built that way. I sincerely hope my intentions are understood, and that there will be a fair judgment about why I am enduring and pursuing this painful lawsuit to this extent. Thank you."

Buying out or pushing out your competitors is how capitalism operates. Hybe didn't attempt to buy out SM out of their good heart. The goal was to kill Aespa like they killed V Live. It's a marvel they tried to do the same to one of their own artists. Bang Sihyuk has such a fragile ego, he also tried to kill Newjeans solely because he wasn't credited for their success. This is the man with a big inferiority complex but without talent or vision, who has to resort to buying the validation and respect he desperately seeks with money.

Yep several people getting their shekels but I also think a lot of media is scared, the mafia has big influence in the law and former judges on payroll so people are afraid of the SLAPP suits they're using even on children

TBL isn't doing too hot financially, they are ~$50M in debt after launching the label, debuting multiple groups at once, and the sales are low. It's Teddy's 1st gig outside his comfort zone as manager and CEO, it's a rough patch. Still, I think they will be a major player domestically down the road. All Day Project is kind of the most popular group in Korea that came out post newjeans era, and Meovv is growing.
