Unfortunately the issue has been politicized because Japan and China are not getting along right now and NINGNING is Chinese.

 

It does seem to be suspiciously one campaign after another with aespa. I've watched this story since the beginning. The whole origin is over a lamp NINGNING bought in 2022, well before aespa even debuted in Japan.

 

The fact there is a whole ass petition because she bought a lamp (which is also on sale in Japan) is just wildly overreacting and all the tweets mysteriously have 100-200k likes from small accounts. 

 

I feel bad for the girls but to be honest I think SM should just ignore and remain unbothered. If they try to do anything they will only make it worse knowing that company.

This random declaration sent me for some reason  And yeah, I think the guys seem talented from what I've seen, no shade to them, but it's obvious Hybe is pushing positive articles and tweets about the group. What's interesting is that it seems to be working.
