It feels like they do it on purpose. People have been complaining about music quality for years. I don't get it because JYP used to have sooo much good music like where are the Miss A demos???

I feel like the problem is they have too many active girl groups. NMIXX, itzy, twice and Niziu 

 

they most likely buy all the songs they can get and see what fits.

Yeah it actually makes sense that the songs are all being pulled from the same bucket and just assigned to groups omg. Nmixx has done something different this past year but dice, tank, etc. def got picked from there too

I know it's easy to do, but you forgot GIRLSET.

 

I think it's a (severe) management and A&R problem at JYP. In 2022, SM had aespa, Red Velvet, SNSD + GOT The Beat...yet managed fine enough. They all got a successful song each and SM isn't the best with their GGs either.

Itzy needs to focus on their solo activities. 

ITZY has released nothing but quality this year.

I don't listen to every girl group but I really can't think of another gg with bsides as good as ITZY's this year.

 

Could the titles be better? Possibly but GWBG and Tunnel Vision are still GREAT songs. All the elements and layers Tunnel Vision has. There's no other 2025 gg song as detailed as TV. 

Unfortunately the GP seems to only want fun, easy-listenable songs from ITZY and JYP ggs in general so until that happens I don't think they'll get another hit. 

So yeah, the problem isn't the music. You all just have bad taste.

Ah, so the whole EP is great. I had a look at the group's bio; their label is a subsidiary under YG, so I guess that's where the money for good producers came from. I wonder what happened to Ahyeon and friends.

Both EPs were excellent, you are 200% right! Also they delivered quality in every other aspect such as music videos, choreography and visuals.
