Tears and The Dead Dance are rising in views a lot because they're Halloween-themed videos, but Rich Man is still millions ahead of them.

The gap is 2 million views from tertiary videos, while Tears and TDD both only have 1 mv and 1 official audio. I don't think that's very impressive.

Releasing two title tracks, one in English and one that dropped w an English version, that both include remixes from Western artists is not seeking Western Validation? The planning and execution of every Western push since they cut ties with Warner has been EXTREMELY botched but it doesn't mean they aren't seeking western validation. Also sorry a decent debut on Spotify and charting at the bottom of AM's chart for a few days isnt impressive to me. 

Also calling me a non-SM stan is really weird. I've seen aespa, NCT 127 and SuJu live. I bought physical and digital copies of every single aespa release until Dirty Work which was an awful single. I have copies of almost every NCT Dream album. Me making a thoughtful analysis doesn't mean I hate them. Im extremely disappointed in the downward trajectory in their artistry but I still want them to succeed at the end of the day. Theyre the textbook definition of underperformances. The main response was to Zack because he called both 'huge' hits, when they aren't. I'm glad you actually backed up an argument with real stats though because you definitely put things into a clearer perspective on how theyre performing above the other peer groups even when its not to their standard.

I know this has already been discussed but re H2H and Focus, I really feel like so far it's just Ian and co, and I NEVER felt SNSD was Yoona and the girls. Even in their b-sides, the girls' voices and unique prints are clear. (Btw, it's absolutely wild that this song is a b-side. IGAB and Dancing Queen make sense as leads, but this track is just fantastic).

 

 

Even if you didn't know SNSD, you can still hear Taeyeon's booming voice, Seohyun's slightly more rich, deeper and harmonising vocals, Jessica's dulcet tones and vibrato, Tiffany's lite but robust tone, etc. Who is singing what in H2H's Focus? We don't know! This is their third lead. Come on, let's stop playing it safe!

Exactly, I read one of their interview and one member couldn't even participate in the writing of the song she wanted. They can only do what HYBE accept them to do.
