Well i'm sure there are some great Bsides here and there, but they havent put out a truly great title track since Sugar Rush...and the interest for them has been dwindling for some time now. They're really not the same group they used to be early in their career. I mean this is the same group who put out back to back excellence like The Dream Chapter series and minisode EPs. Like no other bg was doing the music they were doing. I was HOOKED like crazy, but then somewhere after Love Song (a great song btw), they started chasing trends and just straying away from what made them unique I guess. And of course, Enhypen kinda took their place as their music and concepts and overall package was way better and fully realized than TXT's. Not to mention, enhypen as a group is more complete in terms of members' skills and cohesiveness. Hopefully txt can bounce back because they did give us some great music for a few years.

You dont necessarily have to be boy crush. Look at enhypen, they have their own darker, moodier music with vampire concept, and they're killing it. Txt just lacks the vision for their music rn.

TXT had strong momentum from 2019-2021 and was at their peak in 2021, when they did more pop-rock sound with Lovesong and then followed up with Loser-Lover.

 

But then 2022 happened and they released Good Boy Gone Bad, which killed their momentum a little bit. Then they had a repeak with Sugar Rush Ride, but then, they followed up with the Jonas Brothers collab which was the start of the end for them. They simply became too focused on breaking into the West instead of building their core identity and fanbase.

 

TXT like other HYBE bgs were victims of releasing faceless radio friendly singles as follow up to their magnum opuses. This happened with ENHYPEN as well, where in 2023, they released their biggest song Bite Me, but then followed with the faceless radio fodder single which was Sweet Venom, killing their momentum that Bite Me set for them. While ENHYPEN's loss of momentum wasn't as big as TXT's, they too have yet to replicate the success of Bite Me, which was over 2 years ago.

I mean people say HUNTR/X because the song is credited under the name and it's much easier and shorter. Just like people say "K/DA" instead of "Jaira Burns, Madison Beer, I-DLE". Is it really a fake group if they're credited in the name? It was just made for the movie.
