Yup JYP doesn't care about letting go members even if they wanted to go solo on their own as historically shown, plus Kaylee just left. Their problem is likely due to the fact how KG threw the VCHA members under the bus by exposing their suicide attempt, eating disorders, and private texts subsequently smearing the group and the company's brands, and JYP cannot let this precedent slide. How can you continue as a group under a company that supports eating disorders and left a member to attempt suicide? Imagine those questions being asked to each member in interviews even post-VCHA if they ever wanted to pursue public roles. They could have left like Kaylee or join KG's lawsuit but they didn't, and are rumored to redebut under "GRLSET" or whatever. Personally, I don't care about JYP and I get the whole small artist vs. big company optics but it's hard to support KG when she had to use her bandmates as collateral damage to win.
