    The video made me like the song even more because I always listen to QB as a whole and it doesn't pop that way.

    One of the best songs in the album, lemme get obsessed with it again.

On no sleep they caught up to her, she try to escaped them with a body doubles or a clone of herself.  The people that are chasing her catch her body double (the real Tinashe)escaped with a new identity and everything and leaving her life as a  cheerleader.  On this video we can can see what happened after the captured Tinashe in no sleep (possibly a clone?)and she breakout only to find the people that were chasing her.

     

    it metaphor and symbolism about her and the music industry, media and her career in away.

    I wish she had a much bigger budget to really make a visual film.

    I don't know if she plan on releasing a visual album but I assume the story will continue and evolve into part 3. I think cross the line is almost closure to Quantum baby and next era starting next year.

     

    She could surprise us and give us video for thirsty and when I get you alone, which would turn QB into a visual album.

    It seems to me that she's going to treat Cross That Line as Getting No Sleep. Making MV, but not pushing it on the radio. 

    Maybe Thirsty and WIGYA will get their chance after all 👀

    Yeah I always see this as a promo single with only a video. She better save her money for the 1st single of the third part. 

    This video def elevated the song for me. I'm so glad we're 4 videos in on one "era". Maybe the split project wasn't such a bad idea 👀 If you combine it with Part 1, we're 7 videos in. That probably wouldn't have happened if everything came on one project.

     

    Nasty's success really is gonna be the gift that keeps on giving :jonny5:

    My interpretation is that it's all a metaphor for her relationship with fame. 

     

    • In Nasty she's being chased by drones, symbolizing how it feels to be famous, surveilled and broadcasted to be picked apart and trolled. She's fighting the drones and running away because it's invasive and overwhelming. 
      • In Getting No Sleep, she gets away from the drones (public eye) and meets up with herself at a bar. Her making out with herself is metaphor for self-love. She's hiding out and checking-in on herself mentally so that she can shake off the negativity of fame and continue her journey/being an artist. Once she has healed herself she starts singing on the stage and making the people at the bar happy (before they were sad/angry). So in that sense it's about taking care of yourself so that you can be good and bring positivity to the world, like her music to us. At the end we get the sense that she is surrounded by drones and the cycle of being overwhelmed and needing a break to heal continues. 
        • No Broke Boys is just a cute video based on that it's just a cute song the label wanted wanted for radio. The only tie-in is the easter egg at the end saying she was captured. 
          • Cut to Cross That Line and now the guards are dragging her to a cell, symbolizing that fame can feel like a prison and make you go crazy. The ending with her breaking through the glass and standing over a room full of spectators implies that she wants to fight the bad side of fame, but her standing there kinda sad says that she can't really get away and just has to continue dealing.
