Share your favorite tracks, performances, videos, anything you like related to the positions era.

A monochrome portrait of Ariana Grande touching her face, looking to her right. The image consists only of white and blue green hues, framed by a white border with rounded corners. At the bottom of the picture stands the album title "POSITIONS", printed in white letters.

Dalton's huge d caused this masterpiece to exist. Hopefully get another album full of s*x bops like this from Ari. :clap3:

Her worst album!!!!!!!!!! But I love my hair, pov and motive. :giraffe:

I am seeing more people have come around to this album in recent time, which is great.

Not only does this title track remain Ariana's best single of all time (to me and many others), it is also a hugely successful single, commercially speaking. The album and the title track's success is often underrated on twitter and pop music forums, wrongly even called a "flop", when the song itself couldn't be more of a smash and classic than it already is. 1.5 BILLION streams on Spotify for the title track alone, a week at the top spot of the US single and airplay charts, Positions remains Ariana's longest stay ever inside the Top 10 of the Hot 100, tying and sharing its record with "thank u, next".

The album produced not only one, but two very big songs that you could label as a generation defining "smash". "34+35" is often being missed in the conversation, when the song is yet another Billion streamer for Ariana, crossing this mark just earlier of this year.

Let us not forget the record-breaking streams the album cuts are getting. Motive being close to 600m streams on Spotify is something that is almost unheard of when talking about album tracks and their streams. Besides that, every song, besides 3, passed the 100m mark, those other 3 are very close to reach it in the nearest future (all 3 are near/above 95m streams).

An album having every single track over 100m+ streams on Spotify is a GUARANTEED smash album. So Arianators, make sure to stream the missing three:

Six Thirty: 98,269,389 streams

West Side: 97,758,403 streams

Love Language: 92,913,160 streams

a crime... i remember west side being my most streamed song of that year.

it has some amazing gems. loved the positions mv, it's a shame that pov didn't get get a mv.

the fashion this era overall was flawless.

This was her most cohesive album until Eternal Smashshine :clap3: I don't get the hate for this album, it's a bit more mellow than TUN but I there are a lot of career highlights here (pov, nasty, safety net, title track, my hair)

This photoshoot was her best

it truly is. It is my favorite Ariana album shoot ever.

I remember being so disappointed when it got released :deadbanana2: But thankfully I saw the light and it is now my second most streamed album by her (after Eternal Sunshine) Sometimes it takes time to recognize excellence.

The pure excellence. It sounds expensive and the posh girls get it!

this is what taste looks like girlies

The album still flows amazingly to me and I find myself revisiting different songs constantly. Underrated and misunderstood.

monumental album probably saved my life during the pandemic and still feels fresh after all these years :clap3:

positions (song) remains one of her best songs; so instantly catchy and perfect in every way

Off the Table, POV, and West Side are my favorites :clap3:

This album sounds like a time capsule. It sounds like a cold fall day hoping Trump doesn't win (and here we are)

This album had a slip up with the stans/public because of the initial mixed reception (from fans/stans; IIRC most critics had positive things to say) and the FW sales.

But over time, it became one of her most acclaimed and commercially successful projects.

Aged so well, restrospectively appreciated, 103 weeks on BB 200 (18 weeks in top 10), #1 single, #2 single, two 1B+ songs on Spotify (lead single 1.5B), almost every track 100M+, Motive and pov at 500M+, and eligible for 4x platinum IIRC.

Love the write up.

Six Thirty and West Side are extremely close. One will probably reach 100M in December and the other in late January/early February 2025 (don't know which one's which in terms of daily streams)

With 34+35 and Positions at #1 and #2 (don't remember the order), Ariana became the first-ever act in history to occupy the top two with both solo songs on the BB Pop Airplay chart
