It's very race-coded as well. The bad guys in this are Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Diddy, Rihanna, R.Kelly and the good guys are Adele, Taylor, Bieber, Amy Winehouse, Harry Styles.

  • I mean Beyoncé can't control people's lack of basic logic/common sense. If people think that artists are thanking her because they're scared of getting murdered and not because of the impact her art h

I think she should act like none of its happening and then on the next album have a line that references the "thank you Beyonce" thing, like what she did on Flawless after the elevator incident.

I mean this will be great content for act 3: rock album.

shes gonna be at her lowest… (not)fat, (not)nasty, and (not)broke. career in shambles, gonna come on that ***** mad as hell!!!!!

the joke here is how powerful and untouchable she is. She's fine, she's not actually a criminal:mummy:

Embrace it. Collab with Marilyn Manson. Bring on Act III, the death metal era.

I think it's already going away tbh.

the she knows/diddy stuff yes.. but she "thank you beyoncé" thing is peaking right now. It's the lesser of two evils but it's still very annoying… people thank her because she has been putting out QUALITY albums and performances for +20 years. She earned this. Now every time she wins something or somebody praises her they'll bring this up..

Is just a meme, no one is taking it seriously

I remember after the superbowl 2013 it was way worse in terms of meme also in 2014 after the solange elevator thing

If anything this is making her a lot more famous with younger generations and once the scandal passes she will be more relevant than ever

There was a similar situation in 2013 like I mentioned and then she dropped ST and her brand and career was more powerful than ever

Y'all should've been around during the MediaTakeOut era because my whole school believed everything on there….

According to the internet she was Solange's mom, killed Aaliyah, and drank blood.

People now are used to a lot of clickbait and simply see it as a meme.

Like we all know, Beyoncé has been the topic of discussion for weeks now. It's reached the point were many ACTUALLY believe that she's involved in the murders of different artists and that everyone in the industry is scared of her and that's why they thank her when winning awards (which is honestly so insane to me cause what's weird about thanking one of the greatest performers/artists of all time for inspiring you? people will really go to any lenghts to discredit her).

The new viral meme is to "thank Beyoncé" for anything you do so she doesn't come for you.. you can open any post on any social media app and you'll find a comment like this, it's inescapable. It's bad for her especially cause her reach with the younger generation was already terrible, and now this stupid controversy is all they'll think about when she's mentioned. Everyone is talking about it even in countries where she hasn't been the topic of discussion in years, it's definitely affecting her public image.  My question is, will people eventually forget about it or is she always gonna be associated with this mess by the public? Could this affect the reception of her next projects? Should she keep a low profile for now or drop something to shift people's attention?

Honestly, enough is enough with her whole god persona, everyone thanking her praising her when she doesn't deserve it (to THAT degree). It was about time something like this would happen. I'm sure her team will have something planned for this, but whatever.

Maybe it's time to understand that she's the most important and influential artist of the century and that's why she is praised.

It doesn't affect her career wise, a lot of people hating on her and believing the conspiracy theory are people that never liked her in the first place and always look for reasons to justify their dislike.

This fanfare will have all dissipated by the time the Grammys roll around next year, when the media has something new about her to report on (discourse around losing AOTY again).

Can pop stars be compared to god or not? You can't seem to make up your bloody mind!

She shouldn't add fuel to it. The meme is dying, and the people who feed into the conspiracies already disliked her since a long time ago anyways

Stay silent and let it blow over. Remember the Kate Middleton conspiracy theories from earlier this year? Already forgotten.

If she's not involved, which I suspect she isn't, then everyone will be distracted by the actual  criminals who are listed in the lawsuits.

I think at most, she knew Diddy was into group sex and porn stars, but I don't think she knew minors, human trafficking, revenge porn, drugging victims, date rape, extortion, cover-ups, etc. were involved.

Make a pop album for the kind of people that will forever be defined by THAT SNL sketch, then reverse engineer the sketch by doing another called "The day Beyoncé turned white".

What will probably happen is she won't address it publicly (as she honestly shouldn't) and then when act 3 comes out and it'll end up as a line in a song ala "sometimes **** goes down when it's a billion dollars on the elevator"

I think everyone is being overly dramatic about this :rip: this is in the same vein of her jokingly being viewed as a deity figure. I don't think most people are taking it seriously at all

Release a droplet acknowledging it ala Bow Down but put it on streaming. Have a video ready, gag everyone and then ignore it and go back to Act 3

She should stop complaining about losing AOTY and stop acting like she's this untouchable goddess because it's too much atp. Her fans are constantly attacking the award shows that don't give all their awards to her. The entitlement is so crazy. I hope she never wins AOTY. But I think that the Grammys are so over their tantrums. Jay Z's rant was so insufferable and entitled, this behaviour and attitude is honestly embarrassing. They should just give her AOTY atp (even if she's not worthy) because I'm so tired of Beyhive acting like she's the victim and that they robbed her 💀. They're throwing literal tantrums every single time she doesn't win AOTY. The thinkpieces that we get because of this are crazy, this behaviour is just so sad embarrassing and lame. Her winning AOTY is the only way we can all move on from this tired overdone discussion

I laughed today when someone posted "I don't like Beyoncé, I never got the hype". I asked who do you like, she replied "Sabrina Carpenter, Megan Thee Stallion, Megan Trainer, Tate McRae, Olivia Rodrigo" :deadbanana2:  a lot of it is young kids who don't like older artists.

Stanning Meghan but sneezing at Beyoncé is something :deadbanana2:

Can you link us where she complained or even discussed it? :khalyan:
