what happened to choruses?

I fear the straight guys did most all the magic from Y&Y, as previously mentioned in this topic.

 

That being said, I'm not expecting him to try to recreate a few tracks from "Communion / Palo Santo" since it's now a solo project but either way, I'm lowkey interested in what the "Polari" era has in store.

 

He just needs to redeem himself from whatever happened in the "Night Call" era.

Dizzy on the album. I only ever listened once so it's fresh to me and I really enjoy it now. 

 

I feel like people take olly too seriously / are a little too hard on him lol

The previous album sucked and Dizzy was messy, but Cupid's Bow is DOPE! Danny and EASYFUN are a great pairing. Wish Dua worked with Danny and Kevin separately, I think we would have got more interesting results.

Dizzy was an instant classic and one of my favourites at Eurovision. The end result was disappointing and the messy staging was to blame

The bone I have to pick with Danny is that he's obviously an incredible producer and his own material is good, BUT something about his pop productions with both Dua and Olly just isn't there. Cupid's Bow is good and so was Dizzy, but both suffer from the exact same problem: His productions are flat and they painfully undermine both of those songs' explosive choruses. I don't get why he's being so tame stylistically, it's doing the songs no favor. 

Love the album cover, the concept is interesting, the tracklist seems promising and the two songs from the album are amazing

NIGHT CALL has some great bops.

 

Im also fan of Dizzy, it s a great dance-electro-pop songs with some Pet Shop Boys elements.

I just heard Cupid's Bow and it's a bop! It's much better than Dizzy.
