I would think so, it definitely won't sell out, but I'm not sure when he's visiting the store to do them, I don't think it's happening before Friday.

Cupids bow is wrong but I think the rest are right. Sounds really cohesive and extremely promising. I expect the singles to sound much better in the context of the album too.

Cupid's Bow has grown on me so much  Dua Lipa wished she did something like that , production wise

the album is cute, but I kinda wish there were more experimental songs like Polari. I feel a lot of songs kinda are just 'there'. Like there is potential but never reaches it full potential

That's kinda him as an artist - nothing new. He's rarely been GREAT or "wow" tbh. I just go to him for basic/mindless bops usually

True, I loved communion and palo santo,  but he really could have benefited from guidance and more collaborators as in producers and writers

I feel like the worst thing that could happen is when you make pop music and people can be like 'yeah, it's cute'. This is exactly that. Nothing is really offensively bad, but it never reaches highs either. There's some potential here and there, but not enough to keep the album afloat or interesting. Dizzy and Whisper in the Waves are the only songs that succeed in what they are trying to be imo, and maybe When We Kiss. A few other songs show some potential in the verses and then complete lose it in the chorus, such as Miss You So Much and Language.

 

To think Danny produced these is insane. You'd think if anyone could dare an artist to try to do something new and out of their comfort zone, it's him. A shame 

Yeah sorry this didn't hit at all. As others said it wasn't horrid per say but there wasn't a single part of me wanting to go back and listen to any of the tracks let alone another album listen 

It's not bad but… It's kinda just sitting there. There's something about the melodies throughout the whole record that feel a bit… Lazy / Boring? 

 

There's a few cute songs and the production is nice, though. I'll need to listen to this a few more times.

All low-or-high-key bops. 

It's like one long song with slight variations. Can't say I'll go back to it. I like Make Me A Man but it's no more than a cute bop. 

 

I hadn't listened to a single track so when Polari started I was like oh **** this will be experimental af and good.

ughh the singles were so good...... 

 

what is this rest of the album.... the only other good song is "I Know" and "Heal You" 

 

a lot of it is very 80s random instrumentals lol 

This was a pretty pleasant listen, Esp for his standards? He's always gonna be the most medicore type of basic pop, so that considered, I def enjoyed it - harmless, mindless fun!

 

Will listen a few more times today

It's cute, but I don't understand why he didn't go harder. Nothing on the album scream hit.

exactly. it's all FINE but he can do better, the two Y&Y albums are sooo good and have such catchy melodies. I expected more…

and i was one of the few who actually love Dizzy, it's kinda the best song here bc the production actually goes hard which is what the rest of the album is lacking
