Uh, people thought the Secret Project was a broadway musical or something to do with Paul McCartney's children's animation film High In The Clouds... or even more jazz. Nobody was expecting a rock album or pop bops, you are writing fiction rn.

Let me just say, I am fuming that the visuals don't match the music at ALL.

Ok i like the album. It's just like her jazz albums mixed with how i imagined a Christmas album by her would sound + the Joker and Happy Mistake

 

Usually i wouldn't care for it like i didn't care for C2C and LFS but i missed her voice so much and i'm so hyped for the film that i'll be listening to it a lot during this month and during Christmas season.

 

The visuals indeed doesn't match the music but this was basically another way she found out to release the traditional music that she loves. 
 

And dont complain y'all, the single and the album are coming. I'm just happy to hear her sing especially bc i think she'll be on a big break after the next tour. The more content the better.

At least that one had Vogue 

Can I ask genuinely, other than The Joker snippet and the hoarder visuals, was there something I missed that was leading so many to believe she was releasing a rock/grunge album? We only heard of the secret project a handful of times, Vogue being the main outlet source only this month and I don't believe they alluded to rock music.
