The band has two new members now, Emily Armstrong (Dead Sara) on the vocals and Colin Brittain (songwriter/producer) on the drums.

One of my all time favorite bands. I cried so damn hard when Chester died.

 

I don't know if I should - but I love the song.

I love Linkin Park with all my heart. I want their legacy to live on but we'll see how an album without Chester fares.

Woah, female vocalist? I'm kind of intrigued. Haven't paid much mind to LP aside from nostalgia-riddled moments of me going back to the first two albums.

I will be definitely checking out. Hope the music is good and respectful

The first single was okay, not super crazy about it, but Emily is crushing it and is definitely a fitting replacement. Saw a video from the live they did and her range is very similar to Chester's and she is doing a great job with the screams, toned screams, and singing. So I'm excited to hear what else they have in store.

Not that staunch scientologist as the new lead....

Why? They're still a band, they still want to make and play music together. I'm sure they will do it in a way that honors Chester Bennington. 

I have to admit I don't follow them too closely so if there's something I missed please let me know!

On one hand, I feel like this could be a career killer given the possibility of  a massive sexist bias, but I've also noticed over the years that women consist a pretty significant portion of their fanbase and most of the nu metal bros fizzled out so, could go either way.

Just wanted to note that the only source for this is an 11-year old article where it says she attended a Scientology gala. This doesn't disprove your point but we don't know whether she left or anything else happened.

Didn't expect a Linkin Park album . I'm pretty excited 

Spitting on Chester's grave. 

The song is amazing but I'm not sure how I feel about this. 

I was not expecting a female vocalist. This is so, so good. I hope the fans embrace her. 

I kinda hate that they dropped everything at once fromm album preorder to some tour dates.  For now I can't really connect with the new singer, so I am conflicted to get tickets. But since the first dates are on sale that soon, it kinda pushes you to act really quickly. I get it, since the initial hype will surely make those sell quickly. 

 

But oh well. I might just sit back and see it all unfold. I am a huge fan of what LP was, maybe this chapter is actually not for me. I am happy for the og members. And i am curious to hear more material
