That doesn't really make sense to me because Israel won't stop the genocide if Ed Sheeran decides not to play in these venues. Him playing there might give them more money in the end but I don't know how much of a difference it makes in the end, considering Israel has a lot of ressources anyway.

I agree with this. My reason for always being a bit cautious about surrogacy is that it, like sex work, has the danger of exploiting poor people who feel like they have no other choice.

First of all, I am sorry for your loss. On the other hand people deal with their suicidal thoughts differently and sometimes staying alive is a very hard thing to do and a huge accomplishement. My biggest accomplishment is definitely making progress on my mental health when I thought it wasn't possible for a long time. I start seeing the world so differently and it's amazing.

A therapist recently told me that humans have a desire to be part of something bigger. As more people reject traditional religions they look for different sources. Even a football club can be a "replacement", which is also why a lot of fans are so defensive of their teams.

By that logic only people with the same body type would be allowed to compete against each other. Michael Phelps for example has a body that is basically perfect for swimming, including some metabolism differences (see here). Shouldn't he be banned as well then? (I am not arguing he should be banned, just trying to point out the double standards people have for trans women)

I'd argue there is a lot of exhaustion in the population. Mental health took a dive and there is a lot of people suffering from post covid, chronic fatique etc. On a social level it's become more acceptable to work from home, do meetings online etc. Also we might see more effects when the group that was born 2015-now grows up as they might have had different social experiences than we had.

I like the song but wish Migos weren't on it. I remember being confused by Katy saying she would do purposeful pop and then doing this. Nothing against songs about sex but what was that announcement for then? Lol
