"what the point of it was" was the attitude you had and I responded to it In a same way. 

This was made in what, 2 weeks? and it's leagues better than Crash turned out to be. The songs are great and the features feel very inspired and all have their rightful place.

I actually liked Crash but wow this is waaaay better lol

It's definitely a grower. All her albums for a while haven't been love at first listen but they grow on me a lot. I agree with Border and S.I.N.G.L.E. being highlights.

I will say it's better than Crash, & a lot more cohesive but nowhere near the magic of the first While We Wait. I am just not feeling it with Kehlani's music lately. The production does not sound clean, crisp or quality at all. It often sounds distorted or muffled? I am not sure if I am the only one hearing this but thinking about Sexy.Sweet.Savage, that was produced way better IMO. Always rooting for her though and I hope she finds success with this one.

Love Like, Know Better, SINGLE, Around and Ballin' have so great vibes, I would've hoped more tracks on the record were produced the same way. the other songs feel a bit more jarring/slow paced to me, or maybe they will be growers.

I don't think this is a great album but I like When He's Not There and SINGLE.

overall, definitely a better album than crash. feels more warm and passionate.

 

btw, I really don't know what's going on with that album til this day. I almost get her vision, but it didn't work. lol

When he's not there really should be pushed more. It's a perfect r&b slow jam

 

That and 8 feat FLO have been on constant rotation for me
