Ngl I really thought he was the male Katy Perry/a late 10s fad and Circles was his last smash, but he managed to stick around. More than half of his album being features (with some of the biggest country names) is a kii though.

The album is amazing. He deserves it.

He doubled his last numbers which is excellent. Not THAT surprising considering the genre + the collabs though. Very good numbers.

His best opening since Hollywood's Bleeding.

This is just not true. ILY was a smash. Yeah, it may not have been as big as Circles, but it's comparable with a song like Birds of a Feather.

Would've probably done the same numbers as Austin without Morgan Wallen and the additional 10 tracks from yesterday

whenever white people flop they switch to country music, maybe katy should try that too

Lmao not even close. ILY was a cute hit in the US (again, thanks to Doja). BOAF is literally a global smash hit and on track to be one of the biggest songs of the year.
