I doubt it, but the fact that it's outstreaming the double album daily already is impressive. See when your album actually has hits

Probably not just because of how many songs that lady tacked onto her album, but the fact Billie won the longevity war is a reward in and of itself 

 

Probably. And with 1/5 of the songs. Especially since TTPD doesn't have any hits, Fortnight flopped.

Standard edition yes, but we don't know how many more voice memos, demos, instrumentals, and 15+ new songs she'll tack onto Anthology Deluxe Edition if Billie comes close to the other edition. 10 tracks speak for itself though.

Of course not, the streams are strong but once BOAF starts inevitably slowing down, it will be very close with TTPD

The daily difference is only 1-2 million for the most part and the gap is in the multiple billions

And it barely has more streams than Dua's compilation debut album while being wayyyyyy more successful

 

At current rates, I doubt it. BOAF is still doing 8M/day, and that's not sustainable over the 648 days HMHAS will take to outstream TTPD:TA at this pace (2.36B gap with HMHAS gaining 3.65M more per day), whereas most TTPD tracks have settled into their first year averages (Fortnight has room to fall a few hundred thousand /day, but most of the album is doing 500k/day or less at this point and doesn't seem to be budging). I can't be bothered to do the math for the standard edition, but it's still very far out at the current, unsustainable rates. If Billie releases a deluxe or if she gets another giant smash hit, or if BOAF somehow defies the odds and does 8M/day for 2 years straight, then I reserve the right to change my opinion 

 

Edit: okay I couldn't help myself so here's the math for the standard version of TTPD. Assuming they both do the exact same number of streams every day forever (which is highly unlikely given where BOAF/Lunch/Chihiro/Wildflower are right now), HMHAS will outstream TTPD in 166 days (1.06B gap with HMHAS gaining 7.8M more per day). Will BOAF still be doing 8M+/day in mid-January 2025? Will Lunch, Chihiro, and Wildflower still be doing 2M+/day in mid-January 2025? My answer stays at probably not.

It's almost like one of these albums has the advantage of having THRICE as many tracks as the other

But that's not the question here is it? Billie would have to double her streams to be able to catch up. It's out streaming it on the daily, but the difference is minimal and will decrease even more once BOAF dies.

It's almost like one of those had 4 songs actively playlisted and the other had 2  most album's streams come from singles, not album tracks.

So you're suggesting that "the music industry" needs more playlisting to outstream Billie Eilish?

Or she could double triple the amount of tracks on HHMAS to catch up with TTPD's total streams, which was my point: TTPD has a clear advantage on that front. And it should be outstreaming HHMAS on the daily by a large margin too

I hope you're aware TTPD's daily streams will decrease as well, right? And considering the most streamed song on TTPD does about 2M daily compared to 8M for Birds, it might be wiser not to jump to such conclusions too quickly
