Why did Capitol think it was a great idea to release Woman's Mess as the lead when this song existed??? 

It's a solid song that could have had legs if released as the lead.

The video is cute and very summery which is always a good thing. Nothing unique or extraordinary about the video but I liked the editing and the vibes. 

 

It's very obvious that Lifetimes was rushed as the next single and honestly they made the right choice even though it will probably flop too. Hopefully the video they shot with her making out with a hot guy is for nirvana

It's alright I guess.mp3. The chorus slaps, but I wish there were more catchy parts than just the chorus over and over again. A second verse would have helped.

If this came in the radio or the club i can see myself jump and vibe to it but won't be looking for it on Spotify , cute song though 

The way this song ended "Woman's World" BY MILES

The song badly needs an extended mix. It needs time to breathe and be given a proper pop song structure. The desperation to make it as short as possible makes it repetitive and annoying and you can't enjoy the chorus if there's little to no build up towards it. The song is essentially the chorus on loop for 3 minutes.

My problem is just where is the bridges, verses and the explosives last chorus? Cmon Katy stop making half ass songs? U ain't a Tik tok artist? All her old songs teenage dream, E.T, Dark Horse etc. have what we are missing with these new songs 

This song should've been the first single. This is exactly what Katy needed. She needed a fun loving catchy song that was perfect for the summer and showed off her fun bubbly side that reminded people why people liked her music in the first place. She truly did a personal terrible choice making woman's world her first single. That was such a stupid move.  This song is far superior. I understand some people would say this is too safe etc. But it would've gotten the job done and what's more important is Katy needed Twitter and atrl fans on her side first before she can score another big commercial hit. She needed to prove to everyone that she can make fun music again.

it's a total fun, summer bop! this should have just been the lead. i also feel like this mv is more with the current trends even though it's lower budget than WW. i hope this can be a cute little hit for her and the era!

Exactly! Woman's world could have been a 3rd or 4th single 

The way the music video is miles better and has more replay value with half of the budget or the effort behind World War...

 

Reminds me of the dance-pop MVs from the 2010s where there were similar scenes filmed the club and people having fun at the beach.
