I still stream this album daily, but let's be real. If you don't promote your work or at least put effort into some songs, people won't be streaming it or forget about it quickly. She's also not touring now, which helps boost albums as well.

 

TYRANT is on repeat here, though!!

I like this album. But it is too long, doesn't flow well, and full of filler

It had no successful 2nd single? Regardless it's already Platinum eligible in the US so...

 

A very bloated and pretentious record. Who adds like a dozen interludes? 

It would've been great if she actually showed emotion in the music. The vocals are far too forced.

Every era she does less and less

 

First she stopped interviews, then she stopped performing live

 

In Renaissance she deleted visuals

 

Now she deleted post-album singles

 

Act III will probably be instrumentals only

Honestly the songs feel a little bit too involved to listen to as standalone tracks and I'm sure as hell not going to listen to a 27 song album from start to finish

It's a tough album to listen to and cherrypick tracks from, it feels like a commitment. I love it but I need to be in the right headspace for it, I even listen to Radical Optimism more than CC lately even if I like the latter more.

 

And yes, no promo or visuals or anything.

It's a great record but personally I don't listen to it anymore. Probably lack of replay value? Beyonce doing a generic acoustic song with Miley wasn't my idea of Beyonce reinventing the genre or claiming it.

I feel like there's just been SO much new music this spring. I even find myself not listening to music that's over a month old because there's just too much to consume at once.

 

I was streaming CC nonstop until TTPD came out. Now that Billie released, I'm not listening to TTPD as much. I think people's attention spans keep getting shorter.

 

plus it doesn't help she has done 0 promo for it lol. 

its just not an digestable album, theres no single presenting itself like cuff it and texas hold em kind of tricked us hence the big opening which is making it look bad now

It's nowhere to be seen on the Billboard 200. Meanwhile SZA's SOS, which also released in 2022, is still perched in the Top 10. 

It's what she deserves. These lazy girls need to get off their behinds and P-R-O-M-O-T-E.

 

 

 

Will Jay give another speech complaining next year when she, again, loses album of the year?  

 

Just like the Oscars, Grammys call for at least SOME level of a promotional campaign. 

She needs a manager...

 

The album has several potential hits that the GP would eat up, but they're never gonna see the day of light because of the lack of playlisting/radio/visuals/etc. 

 

Singles bring new audiecne to the album and right now she's not giving any of that.

 

The lack of attention to the album from Beyonce also doesn't give fans the desire to consume the album for long. 

Its way too long. Nobody is sitting and listening to the whole thing front to back in their free time.

Like I get not expecting Beyoncé to do any promotion, but the fact that she hasn't released any visuals is just insane. Especially when she's arguably THE original visual artist. 

I truly think the lack of promotion. I also don't play the album as much anymore. I don't even think visuals would help at this point either. She's very disconnected from her fans outside of touring but I don't blame her in this social media climate.
