    Like I said, what Adele did was something that was 100% far more organic and comes off as more impressive imo. It was literally after a 4yr hiatus too girl! :deadbanana2:
     

    Does not take away AT ALL from how much Taylor is slaying. She's literally doing things in so many departments that we haven't seen in soooo long. BUT, she made up for the difference in yearly sales depreciation by releasing several more variants of her album for nearly every one of her new releases for the last 5 years lmao! WHILE pumping out nearly 10 more albums (including TVs) within the span of 5 years. Then with TTPD she did the same thing and then randomly at 2AM released a whole other second part to the album. I rest my case.

    It changed everything. Selling 3.5M in 2015 is basically equal to selling 1.5M pure in 2024.

     

    So you are saying that doing 3.5M in 2024, with or without variants, is not as impressive as back then doesn't make any sense.
