Her name keeps popping up every time Taylor's sales are brought up recently. 25 really is THAT album HUH?!! I wonder if TPD will sell 1M+ in multiple weeks.

Adele is a great example that you can use your heartbreak as an inspiration for your music without need to exploit your personal life and life of people you dated.

 

 

It's interesting how Adele is called out for being boring but even she is more interesting than T swift and her albums have more depth.

Adele didn't use gimmicks to get her success

 I'm not dragging Mrs. Swift. I like both artists. It's just that Adele seems to be irrelevant after she released 30 but her name keeps popping up when TPD was released!

Taylor vs. Adele is the dumbest "feud". It's completely imaginary and always has been. There is zero ill will between these two women.  In fact, all signs point to the complete opposite. Yet somehow a small amount of users online have managed to vicariously contrive and perpetuate this thing for years now. As a fan of both artists, it's beyond annoying at this point.  Both women have been successful and that is great.

Duh. She's even making haters relevant with how obsessive they are. 

Adele has three real classics under her belt: 19, 21 and 25. A rare misstep like 30 isn't going to make her less legendary or relevant. She has no need for Taylor Swift.

True. Adele might not be smashing records anymore… but how many major artists even at their peak sell 800k+ in the first week.  How many major artists even at their peak get a 10 week number one on the Hot 100.  Adele did that with 30. Adele's future commercial success is uncertain, but she is still very much a relevant player in the music industry and to suggest differently is pretty insane.

It's VERY obvious that certain Swifties are all taking part in a Discord Chat Room-  given the weirdly egotistical (not even y'all's accomplishments) echo chamber thread titles. 

 

ADELE broke that record with literally like 1-2 versions of that album after a 4yr hiatus and a solo lead single. And streaming was BARELY becoming huge. Like some of y'all really gotta stop. Even if Taylor managed to SCRAPE the surface of that, it just wouldn't be AS impressive (still impressive nonetheless). I deada** remember the WEEK that album was released and the mayheemmmm.

Y'all are making the most childish thread titles and it's just reallyyy embarrassing. I feel bad for the Swifties that can actually appreciate Taylor while appreciating other artists. They just get lumped in with all the other bad eggs. This is not the drag you think it is.

Adele is an actual songwriter and vocalist. She doesn't need to open a dictionary in a random page, pick a random unused word and self proclaim a "tortured poet". She communicates with the real world and not a fantasy where all of her exes need to be villainized in a narcisistic garbage.....

It's the case with most female feuds or women Atrl pits against one another. It's all imaginary. 

Adele is totally loved, respected and adored. Can't say that about the other lady. 

Imagine saying something like that. Adele is and will always be relevant 

when was Adele not relevant, she was just a bit annoying during 30 and the album wasn't as good as her others 

The fact that Taylor has way more 1M album openers than Adele, yet Adele continues to be the standard to Taylor and her fans just lets me know Adele will never lose her relevance  

 

Taylor could release 10 more albums that sell 1.5M+ copies first week and her fans will still foam at the mouth to Adele because she will still hold that record, effortlessly and much more organically 

 

You'd think Adele was a washed up hag with the way Swifties describe 30's chart performance but the truth is Adele will always be much more respected and universally appreciated than Taylor will ever be
