You can often see conversations about "lost" projects that fans obsess over and want to know all about, like the mythical "Original Doll" by Britney or the fan-demanded "ARTPOP Act II" by Lady Gaga.

 

But what's a cancelled or scrapped project by an artist that no one really cares it didn't come to be?

 

 

A couple I can think about:

 

"Domination" - Britney's second Vegas residency.

It was a show most certainly ready to go before its abrupt cancellation. I'd guess it being extremely related to the breaking point of the conservatorship and kickstart of the Free Britney movement, is what makes fans reluctant of it (plus we all were tired of Vegas), but still,  I've never seen any fan interested on learning what was the concept, the style, costume designs, any prop, or basically anything about it.

 

"Mind Your Business" music video - by will.i.am and Britney.

Not 100% official but there were plenty of rumors that they were "shooting" a music video for the misunderstood cult classic. I say "shooting" because it was allegedly more of an AI thing that didn't even involve the artists (or at least Britney). A mess that's better not to know more about.

 

Traditional Americana covers album - Lana Del Rey.

Maybe it was her usual teasing uncompromising self, but once, Lana casually announced a cover album of traditional Americana songs. It never happened and apparently for the better because no one was hyped, not even to wonder what was that.

the question in the op is "no one cares about" so this is simply not true  literally the most wondered about/question about from Britney's career…you just have to be a stan to understand.

Songs? The only song we actually know was for The Original Doll is Mona Lisa. The other songs that are often credited as Original Doll songs are actually scrapped songs she recorded for GH:MP and early Blackout demos

Idk about yall but I still would've liked to see at least one show of Domination - the mixes of the songs are so good to me

Vlada Vine's debut album 

Madonna was working on a musical at one point, called Hello Suckers (around the time of The Reinvention Tour), I believe some of the songs ended up being incorporated into later work, for instance Devil Wouldn't Recognize You was originally from the musical (where it was called Even The Devil Wouldn't Recognize You), I've also read that Hung Up was originally written for the musical, and some of the various lyrics ended up in songs on Hard Candy.

Mariah Carey memoirs of an imperfect angel remix album that had dance versions of the songs by jumps smokers. It leaked and was cancelled cause the album didn't do that well but it was . So good sounded like minis confessions on a dance floor. I gotta find that and put that on my phone actually

i have the remix album plus the duets album with a feature on every song. its 2 albums basically

• In hindsight, the original Fame Kills Tour with Gaga/Kanye. I wanted this so bad at the time but she really dodged a bullet.
