The way all 3 songs are 10/10 pop dance perfections… Houdini leaning more towards 80s synthpop, TS is more 70s-ABBA meanwhile Illusion is full 2000s eurodance. 

The connections between the 3 of them are subtle but they're there, the little details in the production are doing it. We're in such for such eatery in less than a month 

This song is excellent. This album will be excellent. Oooo this song, she snapped, and it has a great placement on the album. I'm excited.

this has everything i would usually love in a pop song, but idk, miss peep's vocal delivery is just so monotonous and devoid of personality here. the hooks are extremely catchy, it's giving ai uk radio smash. houdini remains superior but this will smash in UK    

Ooooo y'all pop music is alive and thriving. Oh my god the romantic and sexual narratives being thrown around right now are so inspiring. Like oh my god, it's gonna take years to write the first season of this TV Show but these songs oh my god.

Love the song! 

The instrumental makes it more enjoyable and the details in the acapella are great too, with reverbs, tremolo, delays; people keep asking about the psychedelic influences, well it's right there, it's subtle, just not in the way people expected.

Not 100% sold on the "ooh-ooh-ooooh"'s, but this sound is actual PERFECTION. I smell a hit.

Radical Optimism is WINNING so far

All three embarrass the 3 FN singles prior to album release. I love DSN, FN and Physical too… she's just hungry this era to prove herself and I wish more people would appreciate that cause she's giving quality POP music like no one else has even come close to right now 

Danny and Kevin deserve to have their dicks sucked for this, talk about PRODUCTION

I think Whatcha Doing or These Walls will be the Pretty Please of the album and I can't f*cking wait! I'm inclined to say it's gonna be These Walls considering it's the only marked explicit track

shouldve save the concept for houdini

the water aesthetic will be more make sense since beginning 

Oof this is a chop. Not terrible but boring. Melodies aren't strong. The short breakdown reminded me of International Smile's.

Cute camera work in the video.

 

How are people saying this is her best song ever  The previous singles and songs from FN were much better.

I love the All The Lovers reference in the video. Other than that, this is not good 

Wtf this is even better than Houdini

my *only* complaint is that both Houdini and TS mvs heavily relied on special effects, the mirrors and the dancers disappearing and the swirl on the tea and the room spinning respectively. and it kinda sucks that the song titled Illusion  ( ) doesn't have any

The extended

Dua we are so back.  Should've been the lead, it's that perfect blend of Future Nostalgia and Kevin Parker. The extended "oOoOoOo-usion" at the end of the chorus is ORGASMIC.

 

I kinda get why they were keeping this in their back pocket as the "surefire smash" but damn. Even the music video feels like the first true real representation of the visuals the album photoshoot was depicting.

 

What a smash, I can't get over it.
