It still feels like Don't Start Now should be the closure of her concerts to be honest lol. Be The One was THE moment, almost made me teary. So proud of her.

I love her in the House genre, it also suits her well. One Kiss is one of her biggest hits, Electricity (the most House-y of them all) gave her the first Grammy, Illusion is good, but it wasn't a hit. I think she should leave the genre for a bit, try new things, then come back to it later in her career. It would feel like reminiscing "old Dua", sort of.

I think her dad is ok by her side when it comes to financial decisions, commercial deals and stuff like that because it warranties that he will make the best decisions for her, but in terms of image, promo, and the musical side of her career, she needs a more experienced team.

Same. Also, I think the type of song could do ok in Europe but I don't see it doing numbers in the US.

I still think being part of Barbie with Dance the Nightmare wasn't a good thing. Yeah it was a hit but it messed up with her hiatus, then with the beginning of her era. Now "Whatcha Doing", which is better, is compared with that song because it has a similar vibe, so even if it was a single, it wouldn't shine. Also I think she should be a bit more careful with collabs, a lot of collabs between these two eras didn't help, just a few where good.

First listen and End of an Era, Happy for You, Whatcha Doing are the ones that I liked the most. Then French Exit, Maria, Falling Forever, these are good but not great. Anything for Love is a weird one. I get the intention but it feels like an incomplete work. These Walls, I don't like it at all but that's my bias. Reminds me of A-Teens or S Club 7 and I'm not a fan of that sound lol. Cheesy melodies and chords, bubblegum pop, I just don't like it. I'm sorry 🤭 I'm gonna say, I missed her lower voice. I like that she tries to go up and do different things, but her strongest is when she is low and soulful. Overall a good album, not as strong as FN, but not bad.

For "Cool" it seems it's "Happy for You", but they probably meant similar in the lyric content, not sure about musically.

Well, it sounds like I'm going to love Whatcha Doing lol. Bad from me because it sounds the most FN of these snippets. The wait for this album has felt like an eternity, my goodness.

FN 1. Don't Start Now - To me this one was instant. Clean production, Super catchy, with an anthemic pre-chorus, a perfect outro. And It sounds big, the closure of her FN concerts for a reason. 2. Pretty Please 3. Levitating 4. Future Nostalgia 5. That Kind of Woman 6. Cool 7. Love Again 8. Physical 9. Hallucinate 10. If Ain't Me 11. Break my Heart 12. Prisoner Then the rest

While I agree with someone that said Ian's production to other artists it's a bit overproduced sometimes, I think he and Dua are a good musical match, they work together really well, so I'm glad that despite whatever happened with TaP she still got him in the album.

Love the song! The instrumental makes it more enjoyable and the details in the acapella are great too, with reverbs, tremolo, delays; people keep asking about the psychedelic influences, well it's right there, it's subtle, just not in the way people expected.

The only song from FN that sounds like this is Hallucinate, she doesn't really have that many House dance tracks. One Kiss and Electricity retro House back in 2018 were collabs. I think is nice she has at least one House song in her albums because it's a genre that fits her well. I love the chord progression also. Reminds me of the dance duo from the 2000s Deep Dish. I can't wait to listen to the whole thing.

But the bridge in Houdini is all Kevin and that's the best part of the song.

The MV is meh and as a lesbian it looks like a nightmare I prefer the Houdini MV. The song is catchy, I hope it's a hit. Not my fave I have to say.
