I don’t blame Laverne. I’m sure it’s irritating to blaze trails for your community in your authentic truth, to then be overshadowed by a Tiktoker who uses their transition as a branding opp and reduces womanhood to offensive stereotypes.

She’s not dragging her, that was some good advice. Dylan is a young woman, Laverne Cox is 51, she probably has a lot of experience and knowledge.

I didn’t see this as shady really, maybe there was a touch of shade behind Laverne’s words but it came from a place of wisdom. 

 

At the end of the day, I agree with Laverne but Dylan can do whatever she wants so… ya.

But I think the difference is Laverne is a talented actress who has talents that she can lean on, while correct me if i’m wrong but Dylan is just an influencer? Oversharing is her job, being trans and documenting her life is basically the reason she is in that room to begin with.

red flags after red flags, it's fine she care but you dont wanna fall for that empty void shell of a person.
