This truly is her solar power 

It just feels uneventfull with no standouts

Houdini is one of the best tracks of her career and she didn't even do proper promo. 

Her dad needs to stay away from her.

It's just excellence, ugh. The way NO ONE talked about it before the album came out has me thinking that Covid did a number on people's taste

Honestly end of an Era is seamless after Happy for you, so I think its deliberate where End Of An Era is the true closer, but also kind of an opener.

End of an Era needs to be on White Lotus S3. These Walls needs to be on some melodramatic Netflix drama. Whatcha Doing needs an Ariana feature. Happy For You needs to be spammed on tiktok over footage of Louis and Harry or whoever girls ship these days.

On the bright side, there's no way to defend or spin the mega bombing and panning, so I can just live in my delusional world of being one of the few people who actually likes the album while cackling at the lashings we're getting

 

She deserves all the backlash for not promoting Houdini enough.

the people in TaP knowing the money they took from her is for her own good

This is such a solid album. I really like it. "Maria" and "End of an Era" are my faves of the album tracks.

in any case, given the status Dua reached because of Future Nostalgia I feel like the think pieces will not stop, and people will judge the album with that whole baggage instead of on its own (like with Taylor somewhat)
