  • Not bad actually but don't insult her by comparing to Kelly Clarkson (a fake person with bad personality/music and whatever) hope it do well

  • Every. Single. Time. I scroll by this thread my head instantly goes I DON'T WANT YOU EVER TO FORGET ABOUT US   I'm so excited to hear this in full!

I wish she used her last name too because Perrie isn’t a memorable enough name in its own right

The 8 second snippet sounds like any other song. Hope there’s some uniqueness

What’s the  release date? :duca:

12th April

Uhm you start your solo career with such a basic cover? :doc:

I think some of you are underestimating how popular/digestible this generic pop sound is here in the UK lol, I think they’ve deliberately chosen a song that was basically factory made to be a hit pop song. I think she’ll get a cute peak with this, top 20 minimum im sure.

Perrie coming to release Phoenix 2.0 since Rita refused to deliever this on RO3 :jonny5: This is her Your Song moment

i didn't know Perrie was a freckle girl. in 12 years i've never seen them

not her following the leigh anne route by going with a generic and safe song to start instead of the stronger material

Like...

I was such a big fan of Little Mix but their solo ventures have been so underwhelming so far.

Something tells me people will tune in for Perrie because she's white and blonde, so maybe she'll actually manage to release an album.

The font they're using for Perrie's material is really reminding me of the basic font they used for Rebecca Ferguson back when she launched

I really hope the album cover doesn't have that ugly font on it (sorry girlies)

There are such weird negative vibes in this thread. It makes sense she’d release something relatively safe for her debut.

I agree, can we at least wait for the full thing to come out before people completely write her off lol

I don’t doubt that the song will be on the more “generic” side and there’s nothing wrong in pointing that out, but the full thing might still be a bop, we don’t know yet! I’ve missed hearing her voice.

Exactly! We need the fun and carefree pop bangers and Perrie is perfect for that!

I personally can’t wait! I just hope Leigh and Perrie don’t release singles around the same time cause I really don’t want the negativity that could bring.

Excited for my girl!

Perrie’s voice is perfect for radio too, she can elevate any generic song and make it instantly 10x better (Heartbreak Anthem is the perfect example of this)

I still don’t understand why they announced it so early without confirming the release date? Are they going to make another announcement in a few weeks with the date? Whats the strategy here? :rip:
