I am wondering lately.

"Spelling is fun" artist is very active, releasing the same song over and over again, under another titles. Then we have her re-recordings, new versions of her latest elevator music album, collaborations with bad rappers, just to gain the Gen Z's interest, and finally the Eras Tour.

What would happen, if she had a break like Adele usually does?

Would the demand be so huge, that her comeback would sell more than 3M first week? Or maybe someone new, who will be more interesting/less bland would debut and stole some of her spotlight?

I wonder what makes yall seethe so hard that you would rather be inventing what-if scenarios to imagine her flopping instead of living in the reality where she's the biggest thing to ever do it?

Do your more interesting/less bland faves not do it for you anymore?

The break would be great, she's too overexposed and getting hate for nothing, just simply because people are tired of her being 24/7 in the news. And after a long break she would definitely have the highest demand and people would be curious to see why she disappeared and what kind of music she's dropping now

So instead of having a photograph of yourself or something you enjoy, you chose to have an avatar of an artist you quite clearly don’t like?

I'm not a fan of Midnights so I think a break would be good for her to recharge creatively. She would come back with better material than if she just keeps churning music out at the pace she is now. Who cares about sales when you'll have higher quality instead?

This pathetic rant doesn't even deserve an answer, but you have to be extremely delusional to think that dropping music every year makes your new releases more attractive than dropping it after a big break. Comeback hype is literally the most powerful weapon for big superstars. 

 

But there is only one who can release music constantly and still outsell the "comeback" albums of other female artists.

The way we literally have examples of two big names (Ed Sheeran & Drake) with more steams than any pop girl (except Taylor) who have also released music at frequent intervals recently, and yet neither of them have even come close to what Taylor is currently pulling off. Yet these stans think it's easy for any artist to get to the level that Taylor is at right now. 

Well one day that will happen... although I think she'll be pretty busy from now until say 2030.

 

The only two ways I could see her going on a break that long would be to start a family or to delve into a different creative field (directing for example).

 

And when she does take a 4 year + break, the fans will still be here. Rep was a 3 year break and people were FERAL for a comeback.

Ava Max would replace her as the ultimate supreme and the world will dance and laugh again and I’d win yet AGAIN

Making your entire profile account centred around an artist you hate is very weird behaviour. I truly wonder how yall function in the real world. There must be a few screws loose up there right?

She would absolutely smash it. And you would have to deal with it.

And examples of the opposite, like Easy On Me debuting with 20M streams just because of the comeback hype. Ariana's Positions came less than a year after TUN and her new album comes more than 3 years later than Positions. You can compare the anticipation of both.

A 7.6M debut for a lullaby soundtrack that is currently doing 200k streams. The comeback hype boosted it massively and when she releases her next single it will be very anticipated. Just like the Super Bowl was.

The expectation in terms of quality for her next album would a lot of pressure , similar to, if not more than that of R9. When Rihanna was releasing albums back to back, she didn’t have so much pressure in terms of quality as long as they are bops but due to the long break , she can’t afford to release a mediocre album for R9, it could affect her music career for God.

 

This would be the case for Taylor too. She does have an awesome catalogue and even her mid albums usually have gems but due to the back to back release, her fans are not expecting an unusual high quality from her. Midnights for example is an average album which if it was released after a long hiatus would have been really disappointing. The album will still sell well though due to high demand like 25 but the next one after that may follow 30 trajectory and underperform. 

She won't so this thread makes no sense 

She’d still be bigger than Adele.
