No one should use him anymore, we're almost in 2024. Ever since Melodrama and Norman ******* Rockwell!, he's addicted to recycling and has a fetish for making music that sounds like certain period of time. With same melodies and vocal effects etc too. Those two were his last actually good works. I'm glad Lorde moved on from him and is the first alt girl to ditch his ass for the next era.

This just isn’t really accurate tbh. across his work with Lorde, Taylor, Florence, Lana and The 1975 across the last few years he has been probably the most musically diverse major producer out there, covering everywhere from electronic to synth pop to bedroom pop to straight up folk tunes. Jack’s strength is that he is able to tap into the visions of the artists he works with to execute on them flawlessly. There’s rarely production flaws in Jack Antonoff records that weren’t there by design of the releasing artist. Case in point Lorde releasing that snore of an album recently, which Jack caught a lot of flack for, even though a sleepy, beachy bare bones record was exactly what she wanted and based her entire imagery around.

He's a hit and miss but when he hits he hits that g-spot hard 

This one trick pony is the reason music isn't evolving 

 

Also his production is not what elevates those songs on most cases. Lana, Taylor and Lorde are great without him. 

You're giving too much credit to a man.
