Historically, that’s actually sufficient to be considered a single. Only recently have some sources started to require radio promotion as qualification for single status (Wikipedia does this, for example). Here on ATRL at least, I had the OP of a single thread for All Too Well since the ten minute version was released as various standalone digital versions (and got a short film).

All Too Well was sent to Hot AC radio and was also on TTH, along with the video and TV promotion it basically satisfies every criteria of a single

Wikipedia insists it’s just a “promotional single” because it wasn’t fully serviced or never got an official add date or something, it’s infuriating  This song might end up being treated similarly if something else goes to radio.

This one is perfectly breezy mellow combination of Wildest Dreams, Gold Rush and False God. What’s there not to like? 
It has replayable chorus, it’s hooky.
