I would say better. The Lavender Haze vocal take doesn’t suit a guitar-based instrumental quite as well as this song IMO, and I never really loved that one but could see myself playing this one often. It doesn’t do anything surprising or unconventional, but it sounds good.

I'm assuming they just had this ready because this was the song they were planning to push
