Ariana Grande - 'eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead'
I want the floating cover but I really want the turquoise vinyl. And I'm not buying both. What to do what to do
-
Lady Gaga - 'MAYHEM'
Came to this thread to see if anyone said anything and was expecting to have to sift through a lot of pages and bam there it is. That was my first thought the second I heard it. And it doesn't seem like they're credited anywhere that I can see. It seems extraordinarily blatant, that I can't imagine it's not a direct interpolation. I love the song, just as I LOVE Only You by Yaz so I definitely think it's welcome and an effective use of it but...seems weird it's not being credited? I mean we all hear that, right?

Griff's "lastnightsmascara" debuts with 750k Spotify Streams
She dropped this song in the summer during Vertigo's release week on iTunes and it quickly became one of my all time favorites. Not surprised people are resonating with it. It's really quite good. Good for Griff. I'm happy for her even though I want to gatekeep her for life.

Hilary Duff
It's what the people want, it's what the people need. Honestly it's the least Taylor could do after she stole her lyrics

Britney calls out Halsey, then retracts: "speaking with my lawyers" >> "fake news!"
Just saw this and ran to watch the video too. I have no idea what her issue with it would be. I dont think the Halsey pop character was supposed to be a knock at Britney being a soullless pop star. Not to mention she knew about the song at the very least. I feel kinda bad I know Halsey is a fan and cared about her support.

Griff - 'Vertigo'
Could you point us in the direction? I'm dying to hear them but can't find them anywhere.

Matty Healy says TTPD is "hilarious", relationship with Taylor wasn't "ever serious"
It's me, hi, I'm the problem it's me

Is the Charlie Puth verse in TTPD title track some of Taylor Swift's worst lyrics?
I think people do too much on it tbh. I'll admit when I first heard about it and then subsequently heard it, I was not feeling it. It just felt so jarring. But then I got over it 5 seconds later and now I kinda like it. It's just a very straight forward, confessional recalling of a time they hung out, got high, were talking **** and eating snacks lmao. Taylor's writing is so insanely good that anything like this sticks out as being "bad" when really it's just a different type of writing. It still has its place and I think it works well with the song as a whole.

Taylor retweets TTPD reviews on Twitter, @s writers
She's legit always posted good reviews. If you think she shouldn't do that, that's fine but let's not act like it's something new. With this same logic though, studios shouldn't use any positive review quotes to promote their movies whatsoever. It's pandering and would be "reviewer payola", right?? What's really the difference? I guess we should just completely ban any type of critic reviews as a whole since no one is allowed to draw attention to said reviews for any reason whatsoever.

Do you think Taylor will go back to making pop perfection again?
She just released the best album of her career. Let's let the fans who actually appreciate her music to have this win. 1989 has always been my fave too. I love pop star Taylor. But this latest is who she really is an artist and it's her at her best. It's what the people who genuinely love her want. So I hope she sticks with this more than anything else.

Taylor Swift - 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT'
I needed that chicken to cook a little longer I really wanted to wait until midnight and experience it the proper way in Dolby Atmos lossless and just vibe out. I'm not strong enough to wait a day and a half....... I'm gonna try

Taylor needs a downfall
I promise you 2016 was her downfall. And maybe it didn't seem that significant to people who weren't directly involved in the fandom and dealing with it but it really was a significant turning point in her career and it really did feel like the full general public turned against her. Even the rhetoric surrounding the release of Rep and her tour was extremely negative and people were saying she was over. She was still successful but her real comeback and turning point felt like Folklore and the TVs.

Taylor Swift - 'THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT'
Never heard it :( Probably the rarest and most sought after her unreleased catalogue. I'm confident it's out there but it's being held super close by the people who have it so I'm not confident it'll ever leak. I'd love to hear it and I'm sure it's good but Steve from DBT had a knack for overhyping a ton of songs that maybe didn't deserve it so I wouldn't be surprised if it's kinda mid tbh lol

Ariana Grande - 'eternal sunshine'
Yeah, that was really, really ******* good. Haven’t felt this way about an Ariana album since TU,N. This might even surpass that for me but don’t want to get ahead of myself. But I had legitimately no expectations. Yes, And really threw me for a loop and plummeted any hype I had for this. And I’m so glad I didn’t put off listening to it because damn there’s no misses.

Email from ‘Scott Swift’ (Taylor Swift’s Dad) to Taylor’s old manager in 2005 leaks
Where in the email does it say he bought 30k copies of her album in black and white? Was the email not written before her album was out?

Taylor Swift - "SIut!"
Thanks, friends. Just what I figured... I will skip

Taylor Swift - "SIut!"
Can someone confirm whether it's a new vocal take (doubtful) or just a remix with an acoustic instrumental?

“Picture To Burn” Homophobic (Alternate Version)
My favorite version.

Taylor Swift - '1989 (Taylor's Version)'
I'm going to clown around and believe because it's more exciting that way

Taylor charts 11 albums on BB200; first woman to do so
Prince and The Beatles are the only others to have ever done it.

Mark Ronson teases the last mystery artist for the Barbie soundtrack
They really should’ve switched the two lmao

Mark Ronson teases the last mystery artist for the Barbie soundtrack
Just prepare for the least exciting and worst guess lmao

Taylor Swift - 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version)'
But that's because Girl at Home was a random Target bonus track that was universally regarded as the WORST song Taylor ever released. So while yes, that one is the outlier in terms of the "copy cat" argument but there wasn't as much vitriol because generally speaking nobody gave a **** about GAH and Taylor reworking it only elevated the song and its standing amongst fans. For a STANDARD ALBUM TRACK, she shouldn't have changed a THING. This was a mistake

Paris Hilton f/ Kim Petras - "Stars Are Blind (Paris’ Version)"
